Customer Ratings & Reviews

Ill start by answering the question everyone has - No, there is no RGB. Now, the card perfoms beautifully. Temps never exceed 60 on full load playing with ultra settings on Rust, Epic on fortnite and Alan Wake 2. Ray tracing is amazing. You cannot go wrong with this card. Heck, half the time the fans dont even kick on because it keeps itself so cool. And only using one 8 pin connector vs the 2x8 pins on my 3060 is awesome. This is an absolute buy!

Great card given its price. Spent a couple hundred more than this card on a 2080 three years ago. Yet this card is almost twice as fast with ray-tracing enabled as my old card was without using ray-tracing. Several YTubers trashed this card for its value, but it’s really not that bad considering it’s capability. This particular card is slightly up-clocked compared to the founder’s edition, with better cooling at the same price. On my budget, it is a good upgrade. No RGB, but I prefer it that way.

Despite the backlash of the pricing, I absolutely love this card. Coming from an RTX 2060 Super, it's definitely a big improvement in terms of gaming performance. I can play all my games in 1440p 100+ fps with no problems + it delivers decent 4k performance, much better than my previous card for sure. I haven't experienced any heating problems myself, it runs cool and is also pretty quiet. I can see why people think this GPU is overpriced for the value it offers, but if you're like me and you're coming from a 20 series or below card and want to upgrade to the current 40 series, this card will surely not disappoint you.

The Gigabyte RTX 4070 Windforce OC performs amazing at 1080p with Ray Tracing/Path Tracing, DLSS, and Frame Gen. The temperatures are cool, and I have never seen it reach 70 C while playing Cyberpunk 2077 on RT Overdrive settings. Usual temps while playing were in the low 60s C. The size of the card is also quite small compared to other AIB models, so that is a plus if you are worried about clearance in the computer case. Overall, I am very pleased with the performance and quality of this GPU. Well done NVIDIA and Gigabyte!

-Efficient -Great performance -Isn't even big or heavy -Great temps Had it for around three weeks in my Corsair H1 V2. The cooling is zero issue (around 60 deg while gaming) and the card's performance and efficiency is amazing. Around 190W peak power draw for 3080-tier performance. This particular model ain't even big either, so there's no issue with fitment. Gigabyte and Nvidia did a great job on this one. Card was delivered three days earlier than the ETA with zero issue. Great job from Bestbuy as usual. Only problems are with the clunkiness of GeForce but that is no fault of the card itself.

Cons: There is a big performance difference between this and the 4070 Ti. Even with overclocking, this card falls well short of it's bigger brother. 599 is too much for this card, but I saved $60 using a discount code I found online so it made the price of a little more reasonable. I would suggest you also look for a discount before purchasing. Pros: It is very quiet, sips power and gives you access to DLSS 3. I also like the simple look and small size of this card. It uses a standard 8 pin connector.

Currently one of the better priced GPUs on the market. For those who want this GPU for games, it easily handles anything at 1080p, and has incredible performance at 1440p with a bit of settings tweaking in games like Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2 and Control, I did use Ray Tracing and DLSS. For 4K gaming it is a great entry level GPU, you will be sacrificing performance for graphic fidelity if you use Ray Tracing in certain games but DLSS and frame generation with the 40 series GPUs will help if you want better graphics and higher frame rates. Only the most graphically intensive games, such as stated above, would stress the 4070 enough to merit a different graphics card for 4K, depending on what settings you want to target. For those who want this GPU for productivity, game dev or streaming, its an incredible card. Fast render times for 3D modeling and video editing as well as NVIDIA exclusive features such as NVENC for live streaming gameplay makes this an enticing purchase. TLDR: This Gigabyte version of the 4070 is one of the best priced GPUs currently for new or open box, and performs incredibly against anything you throw at it for its price range.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 “The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 is an absolute game-changer! The performance is phenomenal, handling AAA games at ultra settings with smooth frame rates and stunning ray tracing effects. The DLSS 3.0 technology significantly boosts performance without compromising visual quality, making gameplay incredibly immersive. It’s also power-efficient and runs cool, even during intense gaming sessions. Installation was straightforward, and the card fits perfectly in my mid-tower case. Whether you’re gaming, streaming, or handling creative workloads like 3D rendering and video editing, the RTX 4070 delivers outstanding results. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their rig!”

My previous GPU wasn’t performing very well with Black Myth WuKong. I did a lot of research and found that the Gigabyte Windforce 4070 was the best available card within my budget. Bought the card and it was delivered a day or two later. Delivery was fast, box was in perfect shape, unopened with not damage. Took all of 4 minutes to install and I was ready to go. Getting around 150 or so FPS on BMWK and most of my graphic settings are set to high and cinematic. Very pleased with this card and would absolutely buy it again. Haven’t had any screen tearing and temp stays around 50° C. Gigabyte is becoming my go to brand for GPU’s. Never had a problem with the last couple. The 4070 is a solid card and you shouldn’t have any doubts about purchasing it.

Coming from a 1080ti this card fits my smaller case . Runs under 200 watts and runs D4 and warcraft at awesome speed and clarity in 1440p.

[Employee of bestbuy] How did they manage to make a card that competes with their RTX 3080 that even beats it in a good number of titles at a measley 200 watts of total power? That’s 120 watts less than that graphics card and that’s without any sort of transient spikes. It’s definitely pricey and I’m not saying the value is there, but it’s a GPU you’re absolutely gonna have fun with. Oh, and it has more VRAM and cache.

No issues with it. Runs cool and seems quiet. I don’t hear any coil whine

The RTX 4070 delivers when it comes to graphical performance and having a beautiful game render, personally it out of the ones I’ve tested, is pretty solid and shows every game at almost 100+ frames on ultra, a really powerful card

Great GPU for the price! Paired with 13th Gen i5. Noctua air cooled mid range build. This thing handles everything with ease! Playing Cyberpunk @4K resolution, no RayTracing, with just a few settings like fog quality and distant shadows turned down a bit. Looks beautiful! With DLSS on balanced or quality, I can activate RayTracing and more graphical bells and whistles, but in this particular game, it introduces some artifacts (not the GPU’s fault) so I prefer no RT in CP2077. To put it simply, this GPU is amazing value when compared to what’s on the market currently, unless you are considering going AMD. AMD has some great value GPU’s, but I prefer the driver support and technology in the Nvidia RTX line of GPU’s. Some games I have tried so far: CP2077 - @4K High Settings - No RT (60-70 FPS) Alan Wake 2 - DLSS Quality - Ray Tracing (60-70 FPS) Spider-Man Remastered - @4K Ultra (80FPS+) Miles Morales - @4K Ultra (75FPS+) GTAO - @4K MAX - (80FPS+) I’ve also been playing some PCVR games (Half Life Alyx, Beat Saber etc.) using Quest 3 and the 4070 keeps quiet and cool! All around, highly recommend! If you have the extra money to burn or find the 4070ti close to this price (sale or open box), then go for that model for a little extra headroom in 4K games.

As most everybody knows, the 50 series, and even pretty much every other series for that matter, has been rough in terms of price point and I had to overpay for this with the new build I have unfortunately. But price aside, the performance of this card coming from a 3070 has been astounding. Even features like frame gen that I was previously skeptical of have blown me away. At its worst, frame gen gives off some strange early DLSS like artifacts, but at its best it is nearly impossible to detect and adds pretty much double the frame rate. It’s been a beast at 4K and has been tearing through sim games like X-Plane 12 and iRacing. The form factor of the card has been amazing too. Only 2 slots for this powerful of a card?! I’m running the Lian Li Dan A3 (real original I know) and being able to squeeze a flagship card in this small case is amazing. If you can get your hands on this card for around this price point if not even lower I definitely would.

This card is an absolute BEAST for 1080p/1440p gaming. I genuinely am happy with this card, I’m coming from an RTX 2060 (which played all games perfectly at 1080p) and can see the difference like night and day. Even with RT on this card performs beautifully! (RT testing done with 1080p High - Guardians of the Galaxy, CyberPunk 2077). Another thing I enjoy about this Nvidia RTX 4070 OC is the 12gb of VRAM. Is the sweet spot for what I need it to do, I.e RT games, High settings, Blender studio, & small AI tasks! The power draw on this model is really good too, I’m currently using it with a EVGA 600w and have had no issues at all. Nvidia does recommend at least a 650w PSU though and you should probably listen :)

A lot of people recommend amd gpus since they are cheaper price for performance compared to nvdia. Although when I tried the 6750xt I returned it because the fans were loud, the watt usage was too much and the software was worse. This card is not only quieter but the temps are also lower. I have a 240hz 1440p monitor and this reaches that on a lot of games.

I picked this up Open Box - I probably just got lucky and hit the silicone lottery... but it scores 34,976 PassMark benchmark, which puts it on par with the 4080. Direct X12 FPS it scores better than the average 4090. It stays perfectly cool under load. The card itself is very small. Thanks to whomever returned this gem!

Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 is Everything I Expected and More it Run Amazingly Fast And Smooth I play Virtual reality And It Runs every VR game smoothly I Definitely recommend this product for Anyone looking to upgrade at a Great price and it was easy to install

I had a RTX3070ti before upgrading to this powerful gpu. It surpasses the power of my old card while use LESS POWER at the same time. I highly recommend anyone that currently is using a RTX 3070ti or lower to get this bad boy!
