Vinyl LP pressing. Meric Long and Logan Kroeber recorded The Dodos 2013 album, Carrier, in their hometown of San Francisco. After guitarist Chris Reimer passed away in early 2012, The Dodos reassessed everything about the band - in particular Long's songwriting. InchChris was a huge influence on the way I think about guitar, songwriting, and music in general, Inch reveals Long. InchSeeing how he could transform and shape sound with an electric guitar inspired me to explore more tones and use those tones to begin writing a song. Inch And so, when he began to formulate the tracks that would ultimately comprise Carrier, Long employed two principles he inherited from Reimer patience to let a song develop and a judgment-free enthusiasm for sound.

The Ocean Blue was formed in 1986 by four teenagers from Hershey, PA and quickly achieved widespread acclaim and Top 10 Modern Rock/College Radio & MTV airplay, with hits like InchBetween Something and NothingInch, InchDrifting, FallingInch, InchBallerina Out of ControlInch and InchSublimeInch. They had releases on Sire and Polygram before taking the independent path. 1996s See The Ocean Blue was the last of the major tag releases and is finally being reissued by the band itself. The LP is pressed on an assortment of both orange and black vinyl.

Motion City Soundtrack built their fan base one fan at a time, through breakout tours with All American Rejects and Fallout Boy, on the 2006 Warped Tour and mtvU's Campus Invasion, and at festivals like Bamboozle and Lollapalooza (2008). They appeared on Conan O Brien and Jimmy Kimmel, earned glowing press from Rolling Stone to Entertainment Weekly, and received solid support at MTV, FUSE, and MTV2. Returning to their longtime tag Epitaph to Go, Motion City Soundtrack present the most mature and developed album of their long career. Continuing a dichotomy between upbeat music and darker lyricism that stretches back to their breakout single InchThe Future Freaks Me Out, Inch Go sees the band both maturing lyrically and musically while reinvigorating the signature melodic, keyboard driven sound that their longtime fans love. Despite the full circle musical evolution they ve undergone with Go, the band members agree that in some ways they feel like the same way they did when Motion City Soundtrack was starting to make their mark in the early 2000s.
