Shanghai - Shanghai [COMPACT DISCS] Reissue date 11/10/2009

Critically acclaimed San Antonio punk band FEA their new album The Nerve, out now on all platforms via Cosmica Artists.Rooted in survival, truth, and the reclamation of autonomy, The Nerve carries the emotional weight of it's creation-written in the aftermath of a toxic relationship and expanding outward to confront themes of control, hidden abuse, lack of transparency, and the systems that silence voices. The Nerve is both confrontation and catharsis. It is about speaking up, asking questions, and refusing to stay quiet.Balancing urgency with sharp wit, FEA continue to push punk forward with a fearless perspective. Their songs confront heavy realities-gender-based violence, inequality, and erasure-while still making space for humor, irony, and cultural commentary. This duality has become a defining trait music that hits hard without losing it's sense of identity or humanity. The band has also earned praise from fellow musicians and collaborators.Kathy Valentine shared InchI'm diggin' the new record from Fea - it sounds original and retro nueva ola punky at the same time, featuring the great Girl in a Coma rhythm section and guitar ace Adrian Connor I knew they'd be good!InchJoan Jett added InchFea doesn't hold back, and this third album proves they've only gotten sharper. It's loud, it's fearless, and it lifts up voices that deserve to be heard-saying exactly what needs to be said.Inch

Korn guitarist James InchMunkyInch Shaffer approaches his instrument with a revolutionary spirit every time he picks it up. There's no better example than the self-titled debut from Shaffer's Fear and the Nervous System. It's a deeply personal, pummeling, and often poetic sonic undertaking that sees Shaffer in the director's chair. For the album, he assembled an all-star cast including Faith No More bass god Billy Gould, Bad Religion basher Brooks Wackerman, guitarist Leopold Ross, keyboardist Zac Baird, and enigmatic singer Steve Krolikowski [Repeater]. Together, they crafted a cerebral industrial metal drama of the highest order. Album Tracks 1. Hell (Intro) 2. Choking Victim 3. Chosen Ones 4. No Secrets 5. Chinatown 6. Beautiful Side 7.
