A: It’s carrier-unlocked fi you buy an unlocked one like I did, but the OEM bootloader is still locked from the factory for security integrity. All new Pixels ship that way. You can enable OEM unlocking in Developer Options if you choose to unlock it yourself, just tap settings 7 times, Android standard.

If you do heavy gaming though with the screen constantly on at max brightness, that is more than halved to around 4 and a half to 5 and a half hours sustained usage if you don't keep it plugged in. For mixed usage of lighter levels expect around 14-20 hours per charge
