The size is just right, fitting comfortably in my hand without feeling bulky. Durable Construction: The build quality is impressive, with Gorilla Glass Victus protecting the screen and a metal frame that feels sturdy. I've accidentally dropped it once, and it survived without a scratch. Display: Vibrant and Sharp: The 6.4-inch OLED display is stunning, with vibrant colors and deep blacks. Watching videos and playing games on this screen is a treat. Smooth Scrolling: The 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel incredibly smooth, from scrolling through social media to switching between apps. Performance: Snappy and Responsive: Powered by the latest Google Tensor G3 chip, the Pixel 9 handles everything I throw at it with ease. Great camera and stunning look in affordable price
I've now had the Pixel 9 Pro 256GB for a fortnight or so, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The general performance is smooth and snappy, and the new Tensor chip just deals with the multitasking, gaming, and taking snaps with ease. The 256GB storage gives me plenty of space for apps, videos, and photographs without having to fear running out. The camera array is among the highlights — crisp details, correct colors, and beautiful low-light shots. Google's software sorcery with capabilities like Magic Eraser and Real Tone continues to be mind-boggling. Battery life is well more than enough to get through a day with heavy to moderate use, and charging speed is respectable. The screen is gorgeous — vibrant, colorful, and silky smooth due to the high refresh rate. Android 14 is smooth with helpful AI-driven features and timely updates straight from Google. I can genuinely think of nothing I dislike about this phone so far. It's top-of-the-line, elegant, and does everything right.

My experience
Upgrading to the Google Pixel 9 from my Pixel 7 felt like a natural progression, and purchasing it through Best Buy was seamless as always. Right out of the box, the familiar yet refined design felt comfortable in hand. The Obsidian finish looks sleek, and the build quality is reassuringly premium. The camera remains the star of the show. The improvements to the ultrawide lens are immediately noticeable, capturing expansive scenes with impressive detail and that fantastic macro capability. Snapping photos is still a joy, with Google’s computational photography consistently delivering stunning results, even in challenging lighting. While I still wish for a dedicated telephoto lens, the Super Res Zoom holds its own for most situations. Performance-wise, the Tensor G4 chip is a noticeable step up. Apps launch instantly, multitasking is fluid, and even graphically intensive games run smoothly. Battery life has also seen a welcome improvement, easily getting me through a full day without needing to hunt for a charger. The clean Android 15 experience is, as always, a breath of fresh air. No unnecessary bloatware, just a smooth, intuitive interface with timely updates. The new AI features, like the enhanced Gemini integration, feel genuinely useful and are becoming increasingly integrated into my daily workflow. While the design isn't a major overhaul, the subtle refinements and the impressive internal upgrades make the Pixel 9 a worthy successor. Best Buy’s knowledgeable staff made the pre-order and pickup process effortless. If you're looking for a top-tier Android experience with an exceptional camera and smart AI features, the Pixel 9 is a strong contender. Just be mindful that you'll need to factor in the cost of a separate charging brick. Overall, I'm thrilled with my purchase
