We were going on vacation on a Cruise and we purchase a GoPro Camera so we also needed protective housing for our GoPro we love it!!!! we took so many pictures and have so many memories to enjoy. Thank You Best Buy.

Go pro 8 protective housing is very well made . Have not use it yet but I’m sure it will protect my go pro , got it open box which is in excellent condition and save half off the original price , it’s a bargain and complete accessories . Highly recommended for your go pro 8.

I purchase new, but received used one, case have sand on it and scratches and finger prints. So disapointed what I received, is that how you guys sell new items???

Bought the GoPro 8 to use for several different projects I have going on around with the family. Most notably going hunting, 4 wheeling, playing with the dog. Almost immediately I was concerned about how the camera and its lense and touch screen were going to hold up going through bushes and whatever else might come up going down the trail. I really liked that the case came with two separate back plates that could be swapped out quick and easy: one is a full back plate and the other is open to allow access to the touch screen The full back plate, which I keep on the camera, fits tight and per the packaging is supposed to add to the water resistant rating of the GoPro. And while it limits the ability to use the touch screen, I did like that the GoPro, with its two buttons. Was still able to move between different camera modes without being removed from the case. So far we’ve mounted this case to two different 4 wheelers, my son’s bike, and used the vice grip to mount this to two separate guns to go hunting. We are still waiting on the harness to mount this to my dog, but that’s a shipping issue. You can see several light scratches on the case from rocks and such but the case is definitely doing it’s job keeping the camera itself protected. One thing I noticed immediately on reviewing footage taken, the mic on the camera is definitely muted because of the case, but because I mounted this on the front bumper of my 4wheeler, this muffled the roar of the engine directly behind it, as well helped to muffle the rifle going off while we were dear hunting so for me it’s not a huge detractor. Especially since I’m editing the videos down into a montage to share with family out of state. I am definitely happy with this purchase as it’s keeping the camera protected so I can use it for a lot longer.

Definitely needed item for your GoPro for that endurance if you’re gonna be doing lots of outdoor action shooting since the lens on the hero 8 isn’t removable as with previous models. Also awesome for those deep underwater shots.

Just like you wouldn’t use your phone without a case, same goes for your GoPro! It comes with 2 back covers, one where the touch screen is accessible via an opening and one where there is no opening for underwater use. Once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty simple to switch out. The case covers the front fully, protecting the lense. Just make sure both the case and lense are clean for clear shots. I dropped my GoPro a few times and it’s all good!

I know Hero8 is supposedly waterproof but you can never be too careful. We bought this to protect our camera during our recent trip to Costa Rica, El Salvador & Belieze and it worked well. I would like to say the clamp is very tight and difficult for my wife to open with her nails but that makes sure it is in my hands whenever she needs it open so there is an added layer of protection if your wife has nails and open it often. It is a bit pricey si I cut the value one notch but in their defence what are your prescious pictures of a once of a lifetime trip worth?

Fits well, not bulky protects from dirt and damage. I just wish there were different colors but it does what it says.

I recently ran over my GoPro on a ride with my MTB. Won't get into the details of how. But I did crush it all because I didn't have this case. Now I am not saying this case will 100% percent protect it from anything but I have saved I saved a GoPro or two from being crushed and from fireworks explosion because it's in a case. Its a super clear case. Easy to use. A solid investment for your GoPro to take it that extra mile damage free. BUY THIS!

I'm happy I purchased this housing for my GoPro HERO8 camera. It tightly fits the camera and fully covers every angle. It's well made and not only protects your camera from scratches but you don't have to pay for screen cover anymore as well.

This does exactly what is says it will, protects the go pro. My boys take their go pros air softing and this has helped them to be able to record on the field safely. It does not affect clarity and keep the camera safe.

This housing is fantastic. Never leaks and protects against water perfectly. I use for outside of water activites as well for extra protection from drops.

I love this new Hero 8. Easy to use and very compact. Make sure to buy an extra battery and micro SD card. Pictures come out good along with video. I’ve used this in Coco Cay and all the water slides. Lots of good videos.

I purchased this to protect my hero pro 8, and I can say that any person that owns one of these devices should buy this. Easy to put on and all the buttons are accessible to operate the camera. The only downside is the price.
