Gospel Keynotes - Christmas with The Keynotes - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Every few years, a young quartet comes along and takes America by storm. In the late forties, Texas gave us 'The Soul Stirrers' and 'The Pilgrim Travelers'. In the fifties, the Carolinas gave us 'The Nightengales' and Georgia gave us Nashboro's own 'Swanee Quintet'. In the sixties, California by way of Texas turned America on with 'The Mighty Clouds of Joy'. And the new house-wrecking, fan-making champs of the seventies are some more Texans, 'The Gospel Keynotes' of Tyler, Texas. On this special Christmas album, each track embodies the warmth and reverence of the season, blending rich, resonant vocals with the timeless spirit of gospel and looks like another winner for these clean-cut, clean-living champions of the gospel highway.
