About this product
The name of Father Vallotti, a Conventual Franciscan, esteemed musician and valuable teacher, is still known nowadays particularly for his speculative works. He was considered by Bonifazio Asioli, Inchthe greatest of the Italian harmonistsInch, and his appointment at the Berlin court confirms he was appreciated not only in his homeland. His harmonic knowledge and uncommon compositional virtue have given us pages of rare elegance where the liturgical and sacred aspect is distilled in every chord. Album Tracks 1. O Lingua Benedicta in a Major, 1732 2. Qui Tollis in D Major, 1741 3. Et Misericordia in D Major, 1731 4. Gloria Patri in C Major, 1758 5. O Lingua Benedicta in G minor, 1734 6. Quoniam Tu Solus in D Major, 1731 7. O Lingua Benedicta in G minor, 1742 8. In Manus Tuas Domine 9. Tecum Principium in C Major, 1731 10. Gloria Patri in G Major, 1755 11.
