    So easy!!

These were so easy to install. Took me around 20 minutes to install all four lights and connect to the Govee App. Multiple lighting scenarios are built into the app that makes it fun, see my photo for a small sampling! Don't hesitate to buy these and replace your ugly can lights!

Bright, Smart, and Easy to Set Up

These Govee smart recessed downlights exceeded my expectations. Installation was straightforward, and the app integration is smooth with a ton of customization options for color, brightness, and scheduling. They respond quickly to voice controls through Alexa and Google Assistant. The colors are vivid, and the white tones are bright enough for everyday use. Great for setting the mood or just upgrading your smart home lighting—definitely worth it.

    Govee!!!!!

Great color selections, easy to install in already recessed panels. I can change the light colors, or set timers for when they come on and go off. As with other govee products, Great lights.

    Great product

Easy install and work great with the app. The soft white color is still a little whiter than I like but they dim low so it still works well.

Questions & Answers

  • are they sloped ceiling compatible?

Thank you for your question. The light can be installed in the sloped surface.

  • Is the "smart" aspect of these lights related to the bulbs themselves or the unit that is installed in the ceiling? Will I need to buy new smart bulbs when the old ones burn out, and , could I install these smart bulbs in an otherwise normal outlet?

Thank you for your question. The smart functionality is built into the entire integrated fixture — it's not a replaceable bulb, so you'll need to replace the whole unit when it burns out. These downlights are designed to be installed into a standard recessed can housing via an E26 socket, not plugged into a wall outlet. Please feel free to ask if you have any other concerns.
