About This Item

Limited eight vinyl LP box set. Trying to decide which Grateful Dead concert to reissue on vinyl is kind of like ordering from the menu of a three-star restaurant no matter what you pick, it's not just going to be good, it's also going to be unique and memorable. Faced with such an embarrassment of riches, and trying to remain true to our vision of hitting a different year with each , we decided to do what any sensible Dead Head would do go BIG. Hence, our 8-LP of Dick's Picks Vol. 33! Fresh from a year-and-a-half touring hiatus, and back to full, two-drummer strength, the Dead opened for The Who as part of Bill Graham's historic Day on the Green concerts in 1976. This Pick captures both dates in their entirety, and features one of the most monumental medleys (and that's sayin' something!) in band history with a 60-minute, 10-song journey through InchSt. StephenInch/InchNot Fade AwayInch/InchSt. StephenInch/InchHelp on the WayInch/InchSlipknot!Inch/InchDrumsInch/InchSamson and DelilahInch/InchSlipknot!Inch/InchFranklin's TowerInch/InchOne More Saturday NightInch on the first day. 5.0(2)

Pearl Jam has just launched InchLightning Bolt,Inch it's first studio album since 2009's InchBackspacer,Inch Producer Brendan O'Brien who has worked with PJ for 20 years, notes that frontman Eddie Vedder Inchsings his ass off on this record,Inch particularly on InchSirens,Inch which he calls Inchone of the best songs they've ever written.Inch He adds that InchSirensInch and another album track, InchInfallible,Inch are both Inchvery melodic and beautiful songs.Inch the recording of InchLightning BoltInch began with sessions in early 2012 after the blitz surrounding Cameron Crowe's 2011 InchPearl Jam TwentyInch documentary and was finished during sessions at Los Angeles' Henson Recording Studios earlier this year. InchEspecially when we were finishing up,Inch O'Brien says, there was a sense of Inchunity, everybody pulling together, and there was a joy about what we were doing. The songs have a lot of drama they're good at that. But there wasn't a lot of drama from the [process], just a lot of everyone enjoying.Inch InchI think it's a great representation of their work right now,Inch O'Brien says of InchLightning Bolt.Inch InchIf you like Pearl Jam, you'll love this. And if you haven't listened to Pearl Jam in awhile, I think it's going to bring you in. That's the whole idea.Inch Album Tracks 1. Getaway 2. Mind Your Manners 3. My Father's Son 4. Sirens 5. Lightning Bolt 6. Infallible 1. Pendulum 2. Swallowed Whole 3. Let the Records Play 4. Sleeping By Myself 5. Yellow Moon 6. Future Days
