bogie collection
another addition to my collection. this movie is more about the pat obrien character but is a good showing of how the legal system works. someone goes to jail and has a difficult time when they get out. the rumor mill that makes an ex-con always thinking the cops just want to put him back in jail. typical of the code of the time.

A true original of the science-fiction genre, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension is a qualified cult classic, featuring some of the most unusual, bizarre and electrifying concepts ever to make it to the screen. Brilliant brain surgeon Buckaroo Banzai (Peter Weller, Robocop) sits at the threshold of science in his modified Ford F-350 pickup truck, boldly venturing forth into the 8th Dimension. But when Dr. Emilio Lizardo (John Lithgow, Rise of the Planet of The Apes) devises a plot to steal Banzai's Jet Car and bring an evil army of aliens back to destroy Earth, it is up to guitar wielding brain surgeon Banzai to save the universe. Also featuring Ellen Barkin (Sea of Love), Christopher Lloyd (Back To The Future) and Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park), The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension is a cult ride into an imaginative future.
