I am an employee of Best Buy. The ergonomics of this chainsaw are great and it feels good in the hands. It works on hard and soft types of wood. The trigger is slow, it hesitates to start, and takes a while to get to full speed. The battery life is not described in the product content. From fully charged the battery only lasted 10 cuts through 5" Elm. The chainsaw does not come with bar and chain oil which is needed for use, so they will need to be purchased separately or on hand. The tool that it comes with to adjust the chain is nice, slim and fits easily in your pocket.

Greenworks 14 inch 40V chainsaw. It worked better than expected. Battery lasted as long as I needed to cut up a large tree limb into manageable pieces. Only needed to charge the battery and add oil and it was ready to go. There is another model that adds easier adjustment out there is the only reason for not giving it 5 stars.

Purchased this chain saw to cut small trees and once started using it the chain kept coming off, I to tighten it several time to cut one tree. I would not recommend buying this.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much power an electric chainsaw produces. I wasn't really expecting much and thought I'd only use it to cut very small branches. But this chainsaw tears through large branches and logs as well as my gas powered unit. The battery lasts a long time. I've spent over 3 hours continuously cutting with no issues. A great buy for sure.

I have used chain saws with the Nicad batteries and this saw is so much lighter with the lithium batteries! The battery charged quickly and the chain saw works as expected. I will need to buy an extra battery so that I can have one charging as I use the other.

My son love's this chainsaw. Said it has great power and he was impressed on well it operated. He was able to cut up a decent size tree that had fallen.

This worked better than expected. Easily cut through medium branches that were blown down during storm. Plenty of powere for what was needed.

I bought this daily for the extra battery so the price was right and the chainsaw is a bonus.

I wanted to be impressed by this machine. But with a battery run time averaging 15-20 minutes per charge it’s hard to make any significant progress before you’re headed back to the dock. Make sure you have either a backup battery or another saw in reserve if you plan on working for any serious stretch.

Love this little chain saw. Best buy for the money. Use it cleaning up from a ice storm

Looks to be fairly sturdy. Great price! Makes a wonderful gift.
