A: Hello JEMA, Great question! We thank you for reaching out to us, and are appreciative of your interest in this griddle. We'd be more than happy to provide you with an answer. We do not recommend washing this griddle in a dishwasher. The cleaning process for this cast iron griddle is as follows: (After cooking) Let the griddle cool and pour off excess grease. Wash the griddle in hot water with a sponge or stiff brush. Do not use scrubbing pads or steel wool. Lastly, we suggest towel drying and applying a light coat of cooking spray or vegetable oil.
