We do not recommend washing this griddle in a dishwasher. The cleaning process for this cast iron griddle is as follows: (After cooking) Let the griddle cool and pour off excess grease. Wash the griddle in hot water with a sponge or stiff brush. Do not use scrubbing pads or steel wool. Lastly, we suggest towel drying and applying a light coat of cooking spray or vegetable oil.
