Customer Ratings & Reviews

Fantastic investment, makes grilling bread, tortillas and just using it as a warmer for sauces. Absolutely brilliant!

I love the functionality of this product. It heats evenly and cooks great. We haven't had any issues with food sticking. We did season it like you would a new cast iron skillet prior to using it. Downsides: the drip pan doesn't hold a lot of grease. It'll just barely contain the grease from a pound of fried bacon. It's also quite heavy and bulky, so cleaning is cumbersome. But overall it seems to be a great product and is holding up well to daily use.

The griddle fits perfectly on the grates and is a good heavy weight unit of obvious quality. I'm over 60 so the weight is more than I expected but I'm able to manage for now. It comes pre-seasoned but just a light coat. I've seasoned six times by rubbing with coats of flax seed oil wiped on lightly and baked at 450 for an hour then left in oven for two hours. Looks like there's a decent coat on it but still has some sticking. Hot water and nylon scrubby cleans off (with some salt added) but I expected a better surface than what I have so far - will continue to season as I use it. It does work really well though - large surface with a well on side for excess oil. So far am happy with it but hope for better seasoned finish later.

This is a fantastic griddle. It fits easily on our new cooktop for which it is designed for. It is heavy and cooks uniformly. It is easy to clean and makes excellent pancakes! :)

Love the griddle. Thats one reason we purchased this particular cooktop. Didnt love we had to buy it separately. This was not disclosed to us when we purchased. The display had the griddle. When we were talking to salesperson we even said how important the griddle was to us and that we were purchasing this one because of the griddle over a different brand.

This review is only for the griddle. I'll be leaving a full review regarding the service/install... Griddle is great! Heats well! Maybe to well. Easy to clean and excellent quality. Great for tortillas and to heat up pizza! Gets very hot!!!

You definitely need to use this like cast iron and not like a normal frying pan you toss in a drawer and dishwasher. I washed it in warm water and then seasoned it when we got it. It stays on the stove top all the time, which causes it to get dirty from other cooking happening on the stove, and you end up needing to clean it up a lot as a result. I wipe it down good after each use, and then get a paper towel with some oil and wipe it again before it cools. It becomes really very nonstick pretty fast, but I have to cook with oil or butter, and that means I always finish every use with a good scrape and a wipe down with a re-application of oil. Requires regular car but it is nice to have ready to go any time and our kids use it a lot now (teens)

This works great and fits snug on my stovetop. It is a bit pricey, I saved up a few years after purchasing our cook top, so I feel like we earned it. We seasoned it twice before using, so that probably helped. It is heavy and sturdy. Our range is 36 inch GE cooktop, Item #: 921352|Model #: JGP5036SLSS

Took forever (!!) to come in (months!) but I love it & definitely recommend it . It covers 2 of the 5 burners but I almost never need more than 3 anyway & enjoy having a griddle ready to use anytime!

Took me a while to decide to purchase this but I really glad I did. It’s super heavy and grills well. I’ve used it a few times already. Must be washed and dried thoroughly as soon as possible after use to avoid rusting.

I am very pleased with this item. I will say I have to research the care instructions. There was nothing in the packaging. I mean not a single piece of paper. So curing and cleaning instructions one has to research. I love having it in ly cooktop though.

Works great and easy to use. You just lay it over the burners and once it's cooled off you can remove it and wash it in the sink.

This works great for pancakes and I like burgers on this also. I have the GE oven stove that pairs with it and it fit great and secure.

Really good quality, heavy and the heat evenly distributed.

Great product, easy to use and fits my cook top perfectly. It is made to last a life time. I would definitely buy again. Great price and fast, free delivery from Best Buy.

It fits our GE gas stove top perfect and is easy to use. Make sure you season the griddle before using.

My wife asked for this when see was browsing the website, I found it in stock at our local warehouse. Fits very well on the existing grill and works like a charm.

Good solid griddle- works great. No sticking - was east to season.

My only problem with this item is Best But insisting on treating it as an installation appointment. All they had to do was mail it to me, but I had to go through all the gyrations as if it were being installed (set a date/time for the "appointment" Reminder calls Being asked to confirm that I'd be home the day before It's a griddle fer chrissakes!

Love this griddle. It is heavy duty and goes great job. I noticed some of the bad reviews were complaints about rust. This item is Cast Iron and needs to be seasoned just like any cast iron cookware. If you do not season the griddle, it will rust if you get it wet. Once you get it seasoned, it is outstanding.
