Grooms - Infinity Caller - VINYL LP

?R. Carlos Nakai, William Eaton and Will Clipman have performed together for 30 years, releasing five albums as a trio. Spiral Rendezvous is their follow-up to Grammy nominated Dancing into Silence and In a Distant Place and features the rarely performed high Native American flute, a specialty of Nakai. Nakai's traditional Native American flutes, whether high, standard or low, are perfectly matched by William Eaton's handcrafted, unique stringed instruments and Will Clipman's ethnic percussion and drums. Nakai has sold over 4.5 million units through Canyon Records and received 11 Grammy nominations with Clipman nominated seven times and Eaton four.

(LP + MP3) Cloakroom is a brand new musical entity conceived in the harsh rurals of North West Indiana. Doyle Martin, of disbanded pop punkers Grown Ups collaborated with drummer Brian Busch and fellow native Robert Merkoff. Despite the frantic, fast-paced nature of their other acts, Cloakroom rarely touches on it's member's previous work. Instead they are found channeling the visceral vocals of David Bazan (Pedro the Lion), laid over quiet ethereal guitar hums that slowly grow into pounding walls of sound, at times bringing to mind a more stoned, yet delicate Jam. Translucent Green and standard black vinyl, with download codes.

Vinyl LP pressing. 2014 from singer/songwriter Liz Harris AKA Grouper. RUINS is the follow-up to 2013's THE MAN WHO DIED IN HIS BOAT. Similar to TMWDIHB, RUINS' tracks mostly dates back to recordings made in Portugal in 2011, during a residency from the Galeria Ze dos Bois. The album channels 'a lot of political anger and emotional garbage' she was experiencing at the time, and was recorded using little more than a 4-track, a stereo mic and an upright piano. There's been plenty of Harris-related activity to get into this year, with Harris working with filmmaker Paul Clipson to produce HYPNOSIS DISPLAY, and she also appears on the intoxicating opening track to the Bug's ANGELS AND DEVILS album.
