Guilty Gear -Strive- remains one of the Nintendo Switch's miracle ports. The fact that there are barely any differences between it and other ports, such as the PlayStation 5, says a lot from the developers behind this game. It IS a shame that there is no crossplay with the other platforms which can deter some players, but the fact it can run at 720p60 on handheld and 1080p60 on docked AS WELL AS having rollback netcode is what a fighting game player could ever dream on a measly console as the Nintendo Switch. If you are itching a fight with other players, I highly suggest joining groups or servers who already own this game and play with them there as you are guaranteed to find at least one person to play with.

This game was released earlier on PS4, PS5, and PC. Great fighting games that has esier control than their predecessor games. It has all the DLC characters from previous games and Dizzy is being added in February 2025. While it is less vibrant and detailed compared than other versions, it plays very smoothly both online and offline.

For a switch port, this game still runs pretty amazing! It's as if I was playing the other versions of the game on the go! Haven't had any performance issues so far. If you want to play Strive on the go, I do recommend picking it up for switch.

Great game, very nicely ported to the Switch. Hitches here and there but not bad or what I wouldn't expect. If you like anime and you like fighting games, this might be a solid pick.
