Vinyl LP pressing. Reissue, originally released in October 1967 by Philips Records. H. P. Lovecraft is the eponymous debut album by the American psychedelic rock band H. P. Lovecraft. The album blended psychedelic and folk rock influences and was marked by the haunting, eerie ambiance of the band's music, which itself was often inspired by the literary works of horror writer H. P. Lovecraft, after whom the band had named themselves. This is possibly one of the best second-division psychedelic albums, that shows the immediately identifiable Edwards-Michaels vocal tandem at it's best. With deft touches of folk, jazz, and sultry horn arrangements the album was a cult behind his own generation. Album Tracks 1. Wayfaring Stranger 2. Let's Get Together 3. I've Been Wrong Before 4. Drifter 5. That's the Bag I'm in 6. White Ship 7. Country Boy & Bleeker Street 8. Time Machine 9. That's How Much I Love You, Baby (More or Less) 10. Gloria Patria

Vinyl LP pressing. 2022 . The Meltdown present their second LP It's A Long Road, a wistful and uplifting journey through dusty, countrified soul music and tender, reflective songwriting. Led by vocalist, keyboard player and producer Simon Burke, the band is understated but deft throughout, letting the songs and Simon's golden voice do the heavy lifting. The band stick to a sonic palette reminiscent of golden era Southern soul studios from Memphis to Muscle Shoals and in that tradition there's as much as country-soul and blues in the mix as there is soul and funk. Of particular interest to fans of Durand Jones and the Indications, Lee Fields and Tedeschi Trucks. Album Tracks 1. Tell You Not to Worry 2. River 3. Lie to Me 4. Hold on to Hope 5. It's a Long Road (Feat. Emma Donovan) 6. An Open Heart 7. Not the Only Love (Feat. Liz Stringer) 8. Side By Side 9. A Lonesome Way 10. Into Temptation 11. Hard Time Letting Go
