Good Tax Program

I’ve used this tax software for over six years. I’ve never had a problem finding the correct forms or submitting my taxes via e-file. There are serval different packages available, so be sure to look at what’s covered with each, and buy the software that will meet all your needs. I also do my state tax return with the same software, and generally there is little or no additional information that needs to be input. You can contact an H&R Block representative directly from the software, although I’ve never needed to do this. Again, it works very well for me, so I continue to use it year after year. I have never been audited using this software.

My choice for tax-help software

When I bought this item, the salesman was interested in knowing my choice. I told him I started with TurboTax, but switched to HR Block. I found it easy to use, very thorough in its step by step interview, and it gave me confidence that my taxes were done correctly with little to no risk of an audit. I have simple taxes, but I like filing online. Extra fee for filing the state. Buying online directly from HR Block did not work for me, and there was very little price difference, as Best Buy had it on sale anyway. Good for Mac or PC.

The H&R Block Tax Program works quite well and is very similar to Turbo Tax Program - both allow you to enter directly into tax forms or answer questions via an "interview" process to complete your tax return. The Deluxe version is very cost effective as it includes up to 5 Free Federal Return electronic filings, and also the download of 1 Free State Tax Program.

The H&R Block Deluxe + State Tax program is excellent. The program is just as good if not better than Turbo Tax and it is cheaper. Been using it for many years and will continue to do so.

Very good value for a tax program. It’s easy to use and is very easy to import data from accounting programs and previous years tax software. The five free federal e-file and one free state e-file comes in handy for families.

I switched from TurboTax after the filing fees for e-filing state returns went up and switched to hidden fees. This one was a little less up front, the state filing was reasonable, and it worked pretty well.

Have used HRB Deluxe for several years and always works toward max refund . Imports from prior years and even other tax programs you may have used in the past . Less expensive than Turbo .

I've been using H&R Block tax software for over 10 years. Very easy to use as it imports data from the previous year. All you have to do is click the Edit button to change the data.

This program made filing my taxes easy and straightforward and was cheaper than turbo tax. It was exactly what I was looking for and expecting. I did not give 5 starts because it met my expectations but did not exceed them.

Very easy to use. Last years return imported in without any trouble. Federal efile costs were included. It would have been better if the cost of efiling the state would have been included in the purchase price.
