Yes. It was basic. Simple and easy to download and use. I paid like $20.00. The software interface was designed where you could use H&R Block format, or you could fill out the 1040 original tax form. You can use a pdf of your W-2 form, or you can use your W-2 stored with Turbo Tax, or you can take a picture of your W-2 to import your tax information. There was a frequent question answers (fqa) on practically every screen for what you were filling out. The software is split in half, horizontally. You had the choice to toggle between H&R Block form, or the government form. I am glad I checked the gov't form because there was some information wrong and/or missing. But, H&R makes you review your information before you continue. But, throughout the process somewhere my info on the 1040 form got entered wrong. I'm glad I checked. You have the option of printing and mailing your tax return form, or e-filling and submitting via a portal. If you send your tax form through their portal, you need previous tax return info. The software gives you 5 digital tax forms you can use for federal taxes. If you have state tax, I think it charges you like $19.99 to fill state tax form.
