A: Hi! Great questions, we'd be happy to help out. This range has a Stainless Steel cooktop. If you're wanting tips on how to clean it, you can follow these steps: 1. Wash the surfaces with warm, soapy water using liquid detergent and a nonabrasive sponge. 2. Always rub evenly in the direction of the grain. 3. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. - If necessary, you can apply some stainless steel polish. Use a clean, dry towel to polish the surface in the direction of the grain until it shines. - Do not use soap-filled scouring pads, abrasive or harsh cleaners, any cleaning product containing chlorine bleach, steel-wool pads, gritty wash cloths or certain paper towels. A: Hello. We appreciate you reaching out, though we hate to hear there’s some confusion over adjusting the oven temperature; we know this must be concerning. We designed the app to add to your convenience, but certainly understand you may not always want to use it and did design the oven’s main functions to not depend on the app. To set the temperature, you would simply turn the Oven Mode Selector knob to the desired temperature. There is a section of the manual that discusses the ‘oven temperature calibration’ being controlled through the SmartHQ app, but this actually refers to if you think the oven isn’t getting to the correct temperature and need to adjust it; simply setting the temperature can be done with the knob.
