This makes a great cup of coffee. Unfortunately this is the 7th one I have purchased in 4 years. They have really started making them poorly, they leak, and they are slapped together where none of the corners even meet. It is maddening. If you buy get the warranty or you will be sorry. Otherwise, as I said, it makes a great cup of coffee.

Last brew station the water had to be carefully poured in, this one has a side compartment. Well engineered unit. Easy to set up, options for 1-4 hours on time, programming easy. Best part is that you don't have to wait for the brewing to stop to get coffee. Wish it had a larger capacity. 12 cups capacity is closer to 7 or 8. Capacity is not true 12 8 oz cups. Looks great sitting on our counter and makes great coffee. Got on sale at BB with free shipping. Best price on internet. Highly recommend this unit if you want straight forward easy to use coffee maker without the fuss of a "pot".

I had their previous model for probably 10 years. I probably could have stopped it from random leaking but it ran its course. I like this one better in many ways, the ability to use taller glasses that goes with the iced coffee feature, the grate is easier to clean...I think mine might be missing a little traction because if you push it a little too hard it scoots across the counter. The old one was really hard to slide.

I am very satisfied with this coffee maker, it is easy to operate and makes good coffee. It is pleasant to the eyes . I am dissapointed that I cannot clean the internal parts, filter basket and coffee chamber in the Dishwasher, but it is still a good unit for my purposes.

No pot to clean or burn. Makes good coffee. Like the removable water tank. Coffee could be a little hotter, but overall happy.

No carafe or coffee pot needed! I like that there aren’t extra moving parts to clean. I can put my coffee in my thermos directly from the brew station and go. The program options are simple and useful. I think if I could keep the coffee warm longer than four hours that would be even better.

In 2017 I put my brew station in the pantry and replaced it with the 2-way FlexBrew model49976. I was excited to have the pod/single coffee AND the 12 cup coffee maker all in one. I just got REALLY tired of the caraf and when hubby forgot to put back when making coffee...the mess...ha,ha. We had to laugh. So I bought a small HB FlexBrew that use uses pods or grounds and makes one cup. SO...I retired the big Flexbrew, set up the BrewStation AND the little flexbrew/pod maker. Now I have a coffer maker without a caraf and the pod brewer. It still works just like new!

Have had four previous models. By far easiest to use among the various models to date. Spout is out far enough not to dribble down your cup. Not having to pour the water is a time and mess saver, but makes the footprint larger. Gurgles sometimes when sitting while keeping warm. Brew strength very slightly weaker. Overall very good, hope it lasts as long as the others.

This is our third Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker. We love the no carafe design. The old one was working fine, but slow, and we had let it get pretty gunked up, so decided that at the $40 price we could make the purchase of a new one. We especially like the container that you fill with water and then just "plug" in to the unit. That was my only complaint on the old model - too many spills and a narrow slot to pour water in. The new coffee maker has solved this problem and still has the other features we loved on the old one.

Exactly what we were looking for our coffee bar. Easy use, no pot to fill or empty and stays hot for a long time.

Okay, so it seems that small kitchen appliances have gotten very inexpensive, and throw-away. At least this my experience with coffee makers, been going through 1-unit per year for the past many. Good brands, and high end units, from Cuisinart, Mr. Coffee and most recently Delonghi, all failed for one reason or another prematurely (less than a year). Well, when the last unit (Delonghi) stopped working after only 9-months, went out and picked up the Hamilton Beach - Brewstation 12-cup Coffeemaker, so far so good. Nice to see a change in design, this unit brews and holds up to 12-cups of coffee and dispenses it as needed. Easy clean-up and very convenient. The programming was easy, and straight forward, but most of all it brews a good hot cup of coffee, and gently warms it for two-hours. So, heres hoping it works this well for years, not just months like the aforementioned brands. Check out the detailed features on BestBuy.com and view the Demo Video from Hamilton Beach. Only negatives, as others have mentioned... condensation can drip down when lifting lid, to clean. I also think it needs 4-rubber feat, versus just two on the unit, to keep the unit from moving when filling your cup, but with a hand in the back to support, it works well. I think if you try it, you will be happy with it. But, I would love to help Hamilton Beach make improvements for the next version of the Brewstation Elite?

Easy to use. I really like the water reservoir, not too many things to take apart early in the morning. Makes good coffee for price. I mainly bought it for the dispenser, great for grabbing a cup out the door.

The hot plate make noise as if it was brewing while in the heating mode and it DOES burn the coffee on the surface of the top hot plate. If you want to switch from on to timer mode, you first have to turn off the unit and then turn on the timer. Previous units we had one could just pust the timer button and it would switch over.

We use it every day! Well worth it. This is the only product we use on daily basis.

This is definitely a great coffeemaker. Love the easy lift off water reservoir and not having to pour water into a hard to reach place and twisting your wrist so it goes in. The removable water reservoir is wonderful, no spilling water all over trying to pour it into the coffeemaker while twisting your wrist to do it. Love no carafe, just press your cup to dispenser and press till cup is as full as you want; Like knowing how many cups are left in pot.

THIS IS A GREAT COFFEE POT- I BOUGHT THE EARLIER VERSION AND USED IT TIL I BROKE THE HINGE OFF THE LID- I WAS REALLY GLAD TO SEE THERE WAS A NEWER VERSION THAT IS MORE DURABLE AND EVEN EASIER TO USE THAN THE OLD VERSION. NO MORE POTS TO LIFT OUT AND POUR- JUST PLACE YOUR CUP OR LARGE TUMBLER AND AS EASY AS 1-2-3 COFFEE IS IN IT WITHOUT ANY MESS!!
