Pros: I love the concept, I love having a removable water reservoir, I love the pull out try for 8oz coffee cup option. CONS: ultimately why I’m returning it today… towards the end of brewing a cup, it makes a sound like an espresso machine (like extra air/water/steam being forced out) and then it spews the coffee grounds ALL OVER the place, inside and outside the machine! . Very difficult to clean the part that closes down onto the scoop. At first I thought I put too much grounds in, tried a second time with the smaller scoop only 1/3 full, did the exact same thing. I’ve tried both size filters/scoops it came with, tried various amounts of grounds in each, does it every time and now after the third time, I refuse to clean this thing again bc it takes while to get all the clumped out grounds out of the inside part where the filters/scoops go and where the lid closes down. Ugh. Very disappointing. I wanted to like it.

This is just what I was looking for. When you just want a cup or big cup, it does exactly that, quickly. I'd highly recommend the this one with that water reservoir. You can make it a few days if you just do a cup a day. Comes with two mesh hoppers that work well and are easy to clean. They seem a little flimsy but we've had no issues with their durability. This has a nice pop out shelf to put a normal size mug on and you fold it up to fit a tumbler.

Single serve, has a reservoir, doesn't need pods. Exactly what I was looking for. The coffee you get out isn't barista level but is on par or better than every other machine I've bought at this price point.

This little coffee maker misses the mark because it does not make good coffee. The concept is great, which is why I purchased it. I loved the idea of being able to make 2 different sizes, 2 strengths (regular and bold), single use, using my own coffee, and having a water reservoir. The only problem is that the coffee comes out very weak, so to make a somewhat decent cup of coffee, I have to use twice as much coffee, which defeats the purpose or grind the coffee very fine, which still produces a weak cup of coffee. If HB could slow down the water a bit, it might produce a better cup of coffee. Other than that, it has the features I was looking for.

Honestly I like my old one better (2 below this model) you can switch between pods and your own coffee this one you can't it's only ground coffee:( two cups of coffee and you fill the water jug again..it gets clogged alot there is a filter the grinds go in below that another filter every 2-3 cups you gotta wash it out good..or it gets all clogged and over flows and taste like watered down coffee

I love this coffee maker. Beter than the manual first generation and does not need pods which save money and allow use of all coffees.

I have had this coffee maker for 2 months and am delighted by how functional it is. I have found small paper filters that work well. It has two different mesh baskets that both must be installed for the coffee to be sealed in for the brewing cycle. I see that some here have tried just using one. The water resevoir is too much for one large flask but not enough for 2 flasks. That makes it so you must fill it for each cup brewed.

This is Debi talking, not Eddie. This coffee maker is the greatest in the whole world. It makes coffee soooo delicious and it so fast.

I like it a lot. Space saving compact size but holds 40oz of water and 2 sizes of cups 8 and 14. Easy to load measuring basket and brewing cup.

After using a manual coffee presser, this machine is a god send. The coffee takes about a few minutes to process (bold setting is longer), but is worth it. If you are a coffee lover and want to have an alternative option to keurig, this is the best option. Also, the coffee taste great with either setting (bold or regular).

My first coffee maker and I'm glad I picked right. One dose a day and I'm straight.

Seen a lot of reviews that the coffee overflows - it wasn't very apparent - but you have to use BOTH filters when you brew a cup of coffee. The scoop is designed to fit in the other filter...

Easy to use, fast and makes great coffee. Much better than a Keurig coffee maker.
