About this product
A one man band born in the mid 70's in Detroit, MI, The Happy Dragon Band is the brain child of Thomas Court. A studio wiz, synth pioneer and electronic music professor. After releasing one private press LP he went on to other pursuits and the obligatory obscurity followed. This is truly a one of a kind mashup of early analog synths, Floydian psych ballads, and even some proto new wave and reggae.

Limited vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition of this album from the British prog rock band. Godbluff is the fifth album released by Van der Graaf Generator. It was the first album after the band reformed in 1975 and was recorded after a European tour. As the first self-produced album by the band, it featured a tighter, more pared-down sound than the band's earlier recordings with producer John Anthony.

Following on the success of their widely acclaimed Music & Arts J.S. Bach Sonatas for Flute and Harpsichord, Stephen Schultz (Baroque flute) and Jory Vinikour (harpsichord) are joined by Alexa Haynes-Pilon (viola da gamba), and Mindy Rosenfeld (Baroque flute) in superlative performances of François Couperin's four Concerts Royaux; works which stand among the pinnacles of the Golden Age that was French music during the reign of Louis XIV. This state-of-the-art recording was produced and engineered at Skywalker Sound by two-time Grammy Award winner Jack Vad (2012, 2021).
