Helene Grimaud/Konstantin Krimmel -InchFor Clara - Schumann Kreisleriana Op. 16 & Brahms Lieder Op. 32Inch - InchThe most literary of composersInch is how Hélène Grimaud defines Robert Schumann, and the extent of that literary engagement can be measured not only in his vast output of songs and choral and operatic works, but also in the subtle way that inspiration from works of literature is threaded through his piano music.

?How do you describe a feeling, an atmosphere, a memory? How do you reach a state, a space without words? Trio Peltomaa Fraanje Perkola explores unworldly states in their newly created album komorebi, combining their original compositions and improvisations with inspiration from medieval chant and Finnish poetry. A word that cannot be transcribed, Komorebi refers to three Japanese words ?(ko),?(more), and?(bi) with no straightforward translation. It can be described as Inchto the sunlight shining through the treesInch. It beautifully captures the interplay of the aesthetics between the light and the leaves, and the shape of nature's most profound earthly existence.
