The design is unique and way cool, the sound quality is quite good, it's easy & intuitive to assemble & use. It has a whole range of listening uses, like podcasts, music, computer, etc. The volume controls are on one speaker/sound stick and work okay. As mentioned by another reviewer, the placement of the on-off switch is awkward. Ultimately: great on looks & sound, needs a little help with the practical aspect but isn't a dealbreaker.

Set up was real easy. Have premium Harmon Kardon sound system in my car, very familiar with the speaker quality. So, I purchased these for my desktop. They sound amazing. Love the innovative design. Only drawback is the power switch is on the back of the sub. When I want turn them off & on I have to bend down in reach behind the sub under my desk. Be nice if the power button was on one of the satellites left or right.

The sound sticks are one of the best looking stereos that can ever be there for humans. The design is top notch, the quality of sound is amazing, and I think every apple store has one of this stereo. Although my Bluetooth sign inside the speaker is crooked, but it does not effect the whole design. At night, the lights inside the stereo is just amazing. Buy it or you will regret it.

ok so they sounded pretty good. BUT the bluetooth playback had a high pitched hissing feedback almost like a tape player. if i'm paying this much to get bluetooth i don't want static like that!! returned and for a similar price got a klipsch rsb-11 soundbar and MAN the difference is outrageous.

Using with laptop at my desk. Sound great. HK never disappoints.
