Electro-Harmonix Hot Wax Dual Overdrive. The next evolution in inspired overdrives! Awesome on guitar and bass, the EHX Hot Wax fuses our Hot Tubes and Crayon pedals into one powerful dual-overdrive. Each section can be engaged independently, for two very different overdrive flavors, or together to create a massive overdriven sound. The Hot Wax includes a two-knob EQ (BASS and TREBLE) for extensive tonal control, and a BLEND control to mix between your dry and distorted sound. These three controls are active with either or both distortion sections engaged, and bypassed when both overdrive sections are turned off. Product Highlights: Combines the Crayon full range overdrive and the Hot Tubes, a reissue of the classic 1970s CMOS overdrive. Use the Crayon or Hot Tubes alone or stack them with the Crayon driving the Hot Tubes. Sounds great on guitar and bass. Blend control lets you blend in your dry signal which is especially useful on bass guitar. Master EQ section features Bass and Treble for increased tonal control and flexibility.
