Ex Hex is a power trio from Washington, DC. Drums, bass, guitar, P90s, searing leads this is unapologetic rock 'n' roll spat out in the discipline's mother tongue. With Wild Flag on hiatus, Mary Timony (Autoclave, Helium) needed a new outlet, so she retreated to her basement and started writing. Mary found Laura Harris (The Aquarium, Benjy Ferree) and they hit it off immediately. In walked Betsy Wright from the wilds of Virginia. Betsy is a performer and an ace piano player, and before long, she was slinging a cherry SG as the third member of Ex Hex.

GROENLAND RECORDS HARMONIA / DELUXE [50th Anniversary Edition ORANGE VINYL] InchWhen Harmonia made an album, it was about more than just music. It was about a vision. Deluxe, released in 1975, was the band's second album. Instead of pure sound experiments, this album focused more on structure, melody, and rhythm. Harmonia showed a new side of themselves - more accessible musically, without losing any of their depth. - 50 years later, Deluxe is being released in a special anniversary edition - as a high-quality gatefold with previously unreleased photographic material and on orange vinyl, inspired by the artwork of the original pressing. This edition is not only interesting for collectors, but for anyone who wants to understand why artists such as Brian Eno and David Bowie counted Harmonia among their most important influences - and why Deluxe is still considered a blueprint for electronic music today. Brian Eno himself once called Harmonia Inchthe world's most important rock bandInch- an assessment that could hardly better underscore how visionary this music was then and still is today.Inch - David Stubbs Future Days Krautrock and the Building of Modern Germany.
