Hellsingland Underground - Endless Optimism - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2010 from the Swedish rockers. The first spark that brought Hellsingland Underground to life was when lead singer Charlie Granberg moved back to his childhood smalltown Ljusdal, in the summer of 2006. After having written a handful of songs, he contacted some of his friends to see if they were interested in starting a band. Drummer Patrik Jansson brought Mathias Stenson and his Hammond organ to their first rehearsal, Charlie met the bass player on a party and Mats Olsson brought his childhood friend Peter in as a second guitarist. The mere part of Hellsingland Underground's self titled 2008 debut was describing a pretty decadent but carefree small town life.

Cellist Guy Fishman releases a follow up to his critically acclaimed Vivaldi Concertos on Olde Focus with this recording of the concerti of C.P.E. Bach. Along with his colleagues from the Handel and Haydn Society, Fishman's performance underscores the angularity, unpredictability, and most of all unique creativity of this music by J.S. Bach's unconventional son. Guy Fishman is the principal cellist of the Handel and Haydn Society, with which he made his Symphony Hall solo debut in 2005. He is in demand as an early music specialist in the United States and in Europe, performing in recital with some of the biggest names on the early music and classical scenes. His playing has been praised as InchplangentInch by the Boston Globe, InchelectrifyingInch by the New York Times, and Inchbeautiful... nobleInch by the Boston Herald. The Boston Musical Intelligencer related that in a performance of Haydn's C major concerto Inch... I heard greater depth in this work than I have in quite some time.Inch He plays a rare cello made in Rome in 1704 by David Tecchler.

Swedish six man strong Hellsingland Underground is back with their follow up to the critically acclaimed 2019's InchA Hundred Years Is NothingInch. An album which showed a new side of the band, with more piano based compositions and less noisy guitars. InchThe idea with this album was initially to continue in that direction even further, but it felt like the songs me, and Peter wrote wanted otherwise!Inch Lead vocalist Charlie Granberg says. InchSo instead, it turned out to be the most rowdy in-your-face rock InchnInch roll album we've ever done instead. We are just servants to the music, so who were we to resist?Inch
