Helms Alee's fifth album Noctiluca continues their tradition of blending girthy sludge riffs, deceptively clever compositions, rich instrumentation, and transcendental melodies into a potent standalone sound. Starting with album opener InchInterachnid,Inch the band displays their multifaceted approach with eight-armed drum patterns underpinning thunderous walls of fuzz distortion provided by bassist Dana James and guitarist Ben Verellen, with the latter's barrel-chested roar serving as a counterpoint to the siren song vocals provided by Mathenson-Margullis and James.

Double vinyl LP pressing housed in gatefold jacket. Raw, unfiltered, and brimming with energy, InchLive SO36Inch captures New Model Army at their most visceral. This is the full electrifying performance, recorded on July 16th, 2022 at Berlin's legendary SO36 venue, with 19 Songs, mixing both fan-favorites such as 'The Hunt', 'Vengeance' and 'Poison Street' with rarer songs from all eras of their long history - and can be seen as a companion piece to their 2023 live InchSinfoniaInch, that had been recorded the day before.
