After a March/April national US tour supporting Wavves and Fidlar, and in between a smattering of UK/European summer shows that included a performance at the Primavera Festival and touring with Metz - London based, Cheatahs headed home to finish their self titled debut album. Featuring the anthemic, InchThe SwanInch (an altered take from the EP version), InchCut the GrassInch, which premiered on the AV Club in august and InchFallInch, a track that premiered on pitchfork in march and was quickly declared a Inchcatchy-as-f*ck soaring-guitar anthemInch by Stereogum.

S.R.O., issued in 1966, was Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass' seventh album.[1] It included work by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, as well as the band's cover of InchMameInch (from the hit musical of the same name), one of the first TJB recordings to include vocals from Alpert, as he and the group sang the song's chorus in the middle of the otherwise-instrumental rendition. Released as a single, InchMameInch reached the U.S. singles top 40, as did InchThe Work Song,Inch which featured the InchpingInch sound effect of a hammer or a pickaxe hitting rocks or other solid objects. S.R.O. means InchStanding-room onlyInch.

Herb Alpert's Ninth is a 1967 album by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. It reached number 4 on the Billboard charts and spent 18 weeks on the Top 40.[1] It was the last album by the Tijuana Brass to be released in both mono and stereo versions; all albums afterward would be released in stereo only. - It was, as it's title indicated, the ninth album released by the Brass. It's cover, in addition to a number of still photos from Brass concerts, included a pop-culture joke. Ludwig van Beethoven had been a popular topic on T-shirts in the late 1960s. In this case, an illustration of Beethoven was shown apparently wearing a T-shirt with Alpert's face on it. The title was also a play on Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. None of Beethoven's Ninth actually appeared in the album tracks, but another classical work did - a medley of the tunes from the opera Carmen, centering on InchHabaneraInch, and also including InchcameosInch from some of the group's earlier hits - InchSpanish FleaInch, InchA Taste of HoneyInch, InchWhipped CreamInch, InchWhat Now My LoveInch, InchZorba The GreekInch and InchTijuana TaxiInch - worked into the track.
