Q: Is this system compatible with using a HP computer or do I need a Mac?
A: There's multiple softwares you can choose to run your dj controller on, and majority of them can be used with Windows or Mac (both). The software that is made by Hercules (Djuced) recommends a PC made after 2019 and is what I would recommend to start out on.

Great for Learning for First Time
This is my first ever Dj controller, had 0 experience before this purchase. I don't think I could have made a better choice. Extremely easy to learn the basics, quality of every item in kit is great. I've had it for a week now and can unpack and setup within 10 mins, same with packing back up. Easy to use and not overwhelming for a beginner, but has enough features to not feel like it's way to basic. Highly recommend this kit for anyone that has no equipment. Software runs great on laptop, was ready to experiment on my own after about 2-3 short videos showing how to use the software and controller. Speakers are great, headphones is okay but awesome for starting. I could see myself using this even after I gain more experience (which is awesome because that was my main worry, is how soon would I need to upgrade after gaining experience). I don't think I could recommend anything else, other than this kit for anyone starting out.
