Holds a special place in our hearts, Gary Cooper is a family name and we were married at high noon. One of the best old westerns around, great actors!

This movie is up there with a handful of classic westerns. Few actors could do more by saying less than Gary Cooper and High Noon proves it. If you are a fan of westerns or classic Hollywood movies this is a must see film. The premise is a sheriff who's just gotten married and is retiring learns one of the men he put in jail has been released and is returning to town to seek revenge on him. Despite the entire town saying he should leave Will Kane (Cooper) is determined to make one last stand with or without the townspeoples' help.

High Noon is one of the most influential movies ever created, experimenting with time and exploring a unique character under intense circumstances. High Noon is presented in its original 1.37:1 aspect ratio with a magnificent restoration by Olive Films. It’s sound department is great, with great clarity of dialog, and a definitive way to listen to “Do Not Forsake Me, Oh My Darling.” This movie is highly recommended.

Fred Zinnemann's masterpiece "High Noon" comes back in an upgraded blu-ray edition through Olive's new Signature Series line. This classic westerm with it's iconic starring role for Gary Cooper, and career starting part for Grace Kelly, is a suspenseful thriller in Western garb. Worth seeing, and this blu-ray is the best version I have ever seen of this classic. Grab it !!

"High Noon" is a classic. one of the greatest westerns of all time (along with "Shane", The Searchers", The Magnificent Seven" and "The Wild Bunch". A cast that includes Gary Cooper, Grace Kelly, Katy Jurado, Lon Chaney Jr., Jack Elam, Lee Van Cleef and Lloyd Bridges. Directed by Fred Zinnemann and fantastic score by Dimitri Tiomkin.

Olive Films finally saw fit to issue a proper release of High Noon on Blu-ray. While I was grateful and still do own their previous release, I knew this new release of High Noon was a must-have due to the improved A/V quality and the extra features. Kudos to Olive Films for this wonderful release! Highly recommended.

What a great movie! It continually builds the suspense as noon creeps ever closer. Gary Cooper gives a solid performance as does Grace Kelly in a supporting role. Interesting to see a young Lee Van Cleef im his first role I believe.

High noon is a great classic film and this 4K release is so much better than Olive film's previous release. It contains lots of extras and most importantly the subtitle , because I really can't stand a Blu-ray release comes without subtitle. Highly Recommended!

Mastered for new 4k restoration, by far it is the best version you can get for this classic western. I know olive/paramount will eventually release a 4k UHD version, but it will take several years. So far I am happy with this olive signature version.

Olive's Signature line is a big improvement over the bare bones releases normally released by the label. High Noon now has captions, some good bonus features, and a new 4K scan.

One of the greatest westerns ever. Probably the best western of the 50's. Finally it's been given a worthy transfer on blu-ray.

The great director Fred Zinnemann's suspense western pits three outlaws against a lone sherriff and a town that refuses to help.
