Good unit for the price.

[Employee of bestbuy] Had an old GE window unit with two knobs. The knobs constantly broke so I was looking for a new one with a touch control panel instead. Installation was pretty easy just like any other window unit. Build quality seems good at first glance with some cheaper quality plastic for the vent control but in this price its to be expected. Display is bright especially in the dark and has options to turn off the display as well. Remote works well even when far from the unit and takes a standard CR2025 battery.

No sense buying a Hisense

Numbers on display were so light you couldn't see them without cupping your hands over the display and standing right there. The Eco mode didn't work, it kept running even though it was 66 degrees outside and it was set for 74. They tried to make good but wouldn't do anything until I cut the cord on the A/C and sent them a photo. I have no idea how long it will take to replace but I just went out and bought a GE which is perfect!

Affordable option for a smaller room

Replaced a GE that went out after a year of use. This one actually goes lower, which I wanted, and it was worked really well for an 11x14 bedroom.
