I’ve had an OLED in my living room for a few months but, for my upstairs setup, I wanted a TV that could provide a brighter, more impactful image than a typical OLED’s 1000 nits ceiling. The U75QG delivers on that front and more. Assembly is relatively straightforward. It has two stand legs that screw into the bottom and a decorative cover that slides between them, providing the TV a refined polished metal accent. The color matched remote also feels premium, with backlit buttons and voice command support. The built-in speakers, a 50W 2.1.2 channel system, punch well above their weight and even support Dolby Atmos. When scrolling through the menu or switching inputs, the Google TV OS felt snappy. Even high-bitrate 4K redux streams played without any hiccups. This thing can get eye-searingly bright, with highlights approaching 3000 nits. The quantum dot display means that colors pop off the screen and the mini-LED backlight does a great job of delivering deep blacks with minimal blooming. I noticed some minor haloing around subtitles in pitch-black scenes in a dark viewing environment. The display also handles reflections and ambient light quite well, with no loss of shadow detail in bright rooms. Viewing angles are typical of a VA panel, with image degradation kicking in about 35 degrees off-axis, which is fine for a couch setup. Straight out of the box, I found that the Standard picture preset with Warm 2 color temperature provides a great starting point to tinker with the full suite of image settings to get the picture looking exactly how you want it. Its gaming performance is the other big standout. All four HDMI 2.1 ports on the TV support both 4K 165Hz and 1080p 288Hz with VRR. There’s practically no input lag, but I feel the pixel response times could be a bit faster - dark scenes in horror games like Resident Evil can have some black smearing in fast motion. Still, gameplay in fast-paced titles like Apex Legends always felt fluid and responsive, and I never felt like I could blame the TV for any of my shortcomings. This thing is the real deal. You’re getting brightness levels and gaming chops typically reserved for flagship models that cost significantly more. While I could nitpick about minor haloing or response times, these are things you might not even notice with how exceptional the overall picture is. I’ve had the U75QG for a few days now and, in that time, I can’t really remember a moment where I was really missing my OLED.

I have always been set on 2 top brands. This TV has awesome picture quality, performance, great Wifi 6 and other features which made me question and saw other videos before I thought about it and that is was outperforming my top 2. Most of the TV's now a days with the TV Apps you can install, they are a hit or miss. Some would work or others would lock up and freeze. I would always recommend using a streaming box, it will make your job a lot easier. The setup went great with setting up the network, only downfall they should have put a Gigabit Ethernet port vs a 100 mbps. Hard wire is always the best but since the limitation, the Wifi will work. I also wish the Digital Cable for the Soundbar would have went easier too. I was able to connect the sound bar with Bluetooth and seems to make it a lot easier vs using that as a HDMI port. The speed and clarity for a bunch of the channels was really good. I will have to check out how it does on the Ultra HD but I think it will be good from all the videos online I seen about this. I was hoping the stand would be more at an angle, but the plastic holding and sliding over the metal keeps the unit pretty secure. When I got the box, it was packaged very good and extra tape and protecting the screen so it made it taking out of the box pretty easy to do. I do like the HDMI ports are easy to access on the side, but they should have made the sticker on what they were just makes easier to plug items into it. I did look at the diagram they had in the booklet and was able to see which ones I needed to plug into. I also checked out a few things to modify and you want to make sure you set the picture mode to Filmmaker, Brightness to 100, Contrast to 50, Local Dimming to High, Peak Brightness to High, Dynamic Tone Mapping to On. Overall it is a great and fast TV, just hope the receivers start to stream more faster rates to get the crisper picture on more watching on a variety of networks and streaming services. I always did like the brightness of the brand and they work great as PC screens in a chiropractic office, fast and clear and big. I stream about 6-8 streaming services and also have a laptop connected to it as well so I am ready to check out more with this! Check it out if you want a great quality and fast TV for the price and that performs even better than the top rated brands. #HisenseQLEDSmartTVCampaignInsiders

I had to replace a TV in my bedroom and usually watch it at night. I've had OLED and LED TVs before but not an MiniLED TV. The picture is crisp and blacks surprisingly dark with the full array back lighting. It was a breeze to set up out of the box and get a good picture. Google TV is a plus if you have a google account and android phone. Log in and begin to use apps easily. Easy to install apps and login to your favorite streaming apps. Dolby Vision is recognized from the apps and shows looked great while streaming. I also have my Nintendo Switch 2 connected and the picture is great. Don't hesitate on this TV and the pricing. It's a sleeper hit.
