About this product
Stockholm, Sweden based Holy aka Hannes Ferm is back with his third record Ryder, a massive step forward for the young artist. After 2018's hugely ambitious three-years-in-the-making glam-psych odyssey All These Worlds Are Yours which was released to acclaim from the likes of Consequence of Sound, Bandcamp Daily, Prog Magazine, The Line of Best Fit and more, Ferm decided to take a step in the opposite direction. Teaming up with producer Jacob Haage (El Perro Del Mar) for Ryder, Ferm's delivered an intimate synth pop record melding experimentation with conventional pop songwriting and again showcasing his ear for melodies, breaking new ground while still staying true to playfulness and immediacy that's been Holy's signature from the start.

The London based country-infused rock quintet Sleep Eaters are ready to unveil their debut EP Holy Days on August 9 via Stockholm's PNKSLM Recordings (home to ShitKid, Les Big Byrd, Magic Potion and more). Having become one of London's most talked about new acts for their country-infused take on garage rock, Sleep Eaters have spent the past year honing their craft on stage and in the studio, recently supporting Drahla on their UK tour while drawing praise from the likes of So Young and Clash. Holy Days was recorded with Euan Hinshelwood of Younghusband and will be followed by UK and EU live dates during the fall.
Suicide Squeeze is thrilled to deliver a reissue of Interloper, the 2020 albumfrom Holy Wave. Interloper sees Holy Wave adding new layers to their rich andmesmerizing songwriting style. Written about the duality between life at homeand life on the road, it sees the band expanding on it's most esoteric andthought-provoking themes. InchI'm Not Living in the Past AnymoreInch is a mantraabout breaking the cycle of the mundane, and InchEscapismInch is a dream-likemeditation. InchInterloperInch serves as the centerpiece for this self-expanding record, asking, what happens when the world beneath your feet changes so much thatyou feel like a stranger in your own shoes? The band turns inward to blissed-outmoments on album opener InchSchmetterling,Inch the saccharine haze of InchR&B,Inch andthe freak-out catharsis of live favorite InchBuddhist Pete.Inch With Interloper HolyWave weaves together a contemplative tapestry that can serve as a road mapfor the diffident, a soundtrack to self-realization, or simply an invitation toescape.
