Homegrown - Homegrown - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

'Greatest' was originally a 1979 RSO Records compilation released to showcase The Bee Gees period of success between 1975 and 1979. This edition includes brand new and unheard remixes of songs such as 'Stayin' Alive', 'You Should Be Dancin' and 'Night Fever'. It's a heady delight of disco gems containing tracks from the blockbuster soundtrack 'Saturday Night Fever' and the follow-up album 'Spirits Have Flown'.

Though they may be led by Woody Guthrie's incredible grandson onvocals and guitars, NYC's Cole Quest & the City Pickers are a trueensemble collaboration, sporting bouyant harmonies and virtuousoharmonica, Dobro, mandolin, and banjo playing. The band has sharedbills with Billy Strings, Sierra Hull, Sarah Jaroz, Della Mae, TonyTrischka, Michael Daves, earned spotlights from The BluegrassSituation, Bluegrass Today, Folk Alley, WFUV, American Songwriter, andspent five weeks atop the Roots Music Report Traditional BluegrassSong Chart.Their first album in four years, Homegrown features three WoodyGuthrie songs (including Woody's iconic InchPastures of PlentyInch), a WoodyGuthrie/Arlo Guthrie cowrite, and songs by Peter Rowan and JohnHartford.

Recorded in the flow between 2009 and 2012 by Brandon Bodhi Denton.
