Previously, the band has released a few singles and an EP, but above all they have acquired a great routine through countless gigs around the world, from Lofoten in the north to Spain in the south, from small towns around Sweden to Las Vegas in the USA.InchWho Put The Jinx?Inch is released on Hayride Records and was recorded at Cap studios in Stockholm under the supervision of Jörgen InchJuggloInch Wall in 2018 and the producer's role cannot be overestimated.- He has really squeezed the best out of us, says the drummer Linus Sollin and adds - And some moments he actually squeezed the crap out of us.The quartet is completed by; Sven Andersson on base and the two guitarists Jacob and Josef Steinwall, who also share the vocals effort.A bunch of guest artists also contributes on the album. Patrik Kolar (Club Killers, Moneybrother, Florence Valentin and Weeping Willows and others) play piano while Torbjörn Eliasson (The Lancasters, The Beat from Palookaville) and Tobias Einestad (The Lancasters, Domestic Bumblebees) act as horn section. Vanja Lo from The Vanjas sings on InchNight FighterInch, where also Mr Magnatone adds an extra guitar.InchWho put the JINX?Inch showcase a band with great span; from the stubby InchWiggin OutInch to the haunted title track via bluesy rock n roll dangles as Inch5-0-2Inch. Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression.
