Very large unit, bigger than i expected but im ok with that. :) i love the color indicator to let me know if the air quality is good or bad. This unit come with 3 filters that are placed behind the grill. I had a great experience with the smaller unit and decided to go big. You can find these filters everywhere which is VERY important. Unit is very quiet on low. Love it. Couldn't be happier.

We have been using the Honeywell HPA5300 since January 23 for our bedroom which is notoriously dusty and which affects my wife's sinuses. After set up (easy) and turning on, within days we both said the air smelled cleaner. The coughing and stuffiness has subsided. It's recommended the A filter be changed every three months so at 10 weeks I was ready order a new filter and I took off the cover to see how things looked. Holy smokes was that filter dirty with dust! See the pic. This product has exceeded expectations. The low speed sound is very low as promised. The higher speeds aren't bad either. We keep it on low at night and occasionally use a higher speed during the day. Best Buy did a great job of getting the unit to us fast after ordering. Very pleased all around.

This baby is a huge beast! Almost as tall as my mini fridge and same width (luckily slimmer depth). Pretty quiet machine though!! I was afraid it was gonna be loud. The buttons are super smooth and responsive. It has the capability to sense the air quality. Another cool thing is you can dim the lights that indicate the settings/sensor. I got this because my apartment is getting super dusty and I want it better air quality. It has energy star efficiency. It does take 3 HEPA filters though which will be pricey a year from now when I have to replace them ($60 each) but at least it comes with the air filters and the odor canceling filter screen. I got this on sale and don’t regret it! Even if it is humongous. If you need more space I recommend getting the medium-large air purifier from the insight Honeywell series.

Let me start off my saying I just was desperate for anything that would help my swollen eyes and hives all over my face and neck. We just got the cutest baby kitten, it’s fall allergy season, and I live in God’s country, Lake Tahoe. So, I have 3 strikes against me. I was given steroids to help but that wasn’t enough. Someone told me to buy an air purifier. Skeptical I was as what could a big box circulating some air do that meds couldn’t. Well, it did a WHOLE LOT!!! I’ve had this Honeywell Air Purifier going for 12 hours and my sinuses are fully open, hives are nonexistent, and I can actually breathe without wheezing. If you suffer from allergies I highly recommend this. It’s worth tevery penny! I’ve already ordered the smaller ones for our bedrooms and office. Wolfie, our kitten and I love Honeywell and so will you!!! Bonus, it’s extremely quiet, and the night mode is awesome. You dont even notice it’s running.

I love this thing. Turned it on the day it arrived and it has been on since, about 2 months now. Very quiet… on low setting, high setting is loud , but I am also using this unit in a 200 square foot bedroom…and it’s designed for a 500 square foot room. I smoke, that’s why I oversized it. Definitely a good idea. The replacement filters ain’t going to be something to look forward too $$$$ wise…. But they do sell generic filters that fit this unit and that may be the way to go. I can get 3 generic filters for the price of one brand name. At $30 a piece for the brand name and the fact it takes 7 filters (3 hepa,3 charcoal smoke filters, 1 large charcoal embedded prefilter)…so it’s not going to be one of those wash it off and put back together things…you will have to buy filters at some point. But overall, I love it…wish I had bought one sooner, would’ve saved some of the smoke my room had to absorb.

Love this unit. Works very well. I run it mostly on automatic. Turns to red when it is working on high. Very quiet when on green. I use the turbo if I'm trying to clean the air fast. I have had it a little over a month, Air seems much cleaner. Smoker in home and house smells better. I did buy the optional charcoal filters for smoke. Very happy with purchase.

I live across the street from a garbage depot and down the street from a municipal airport. Needless to say, the air quality in this area is pretty bad. But it wasn't until a couple of chain smokers moved in upstairs (we share HVAC) that I finally decided to get an air purifier. From the moment I turned this thing on, it has continually provided great breathable air. Before this, I could count on one hand how many good nights of sleep I got in the last 2 years. Now, I get at least some good sleep every night. And I only have used the 2 lowest speeds. It's pricy, though, to maintain. There are 3 Hepa filters that will have to be changed every year. Buying in bulk should bring that cost to about $60. I'll say the prefilter, which is replaced every 3 months, should be another $20 a year. I added one smoke filter which fits in the Hepa compartments, but i could have 3. They need to be replaced every 3 months, at $30 each. If i used 3, that would cost $360/yr. But, minimally, it'll be $80 a year. It's such a good machine that I will pay it. I have a 25 year old Honeywell space heater that still works well. So far, this product is living up to that standard.

Didn't want to spend the money was looking at less expensive options. I really liked the idea of having an auto mode so I took the splurge. I have left it running all day and get satisfaction of seeing the light change to indicate the air is dirty and hearing the fan suck in the air. I have noticed alot less dust and my congestion has decreases alot... its sleek design is not a eye sore and fits almost any decor. We have a open concept house and the unit even helps with the kitchen smells.

This air purifier is the real deal. I was hesitant to spend the money and only bought it because of the sale. I was proven wrong that the auto mode would not be as sensitive, but it responds to changes in quality of air. I can wake up without being congested and requires minimal maintenance, changing filters 4x year. I would definitely recommend this purifier if you have pets to keep the allergen count down.

It definitely does its job well. It helps my husband’s breathing with it running, It also removes the smell of food after cooking without needing to open windows and doors during cold weather.

I’ve definitely noticed a drop in dust and dander in my room after using this product. It’s not overly loud and I actually put it in high mode when I’m sleeping because I like the white noise..

Im AMAZED how great this works. Hatched out 18 chicks in December. Too cold to put in barn. SO have them in a room upstairs ( in the HOUSE ) with the brooders. Usually Tons of dust and powder will COVER walls, and ceilings from the chicks. This HEPA Purifier kept Room Flowing with CLEAN air and No DUST! I ended up buying a SECOND one !

Awesome product! Our baby suffers from allergens and sneezes a lot, this product has helped him breathe easier and he has been sneezing a lot less. For me, I have noticed a difference in the purity of the air that I am breathing as well. It is also very quiet unless we have it on the highest setting, but we rarely need it to be on that setting since it works so well. It was also very easy to figure out and use. The light changes based on the quality of air that it senses and has been quite accurate compared to other purifiers.

We originally decided to grab an air purifier/filter after seeing the sun come through the windows and the dust reflecting in the air could be seen heavily at certain angles. This product arrived in pristine condition. Easy to assemble, simple instructions. The product performs as it should - relatively quiet with the speed variations you will obviously will have motor noise on its highest settings. But, it is not an annoying noise feels more like white noise. The room that it is in has my pet and electronics, and when it is ran there is a great reduction in dust and dander collecting on surface areas. Great product.

Overall this is truly a great air purifier. All of the settings except for turbo are quiet. It is still light enough to be able to move from room to room. Also, it is stylish with the LED lighting and looks good in a room. The auto feature does not work though. I noticed when I run it the air quality will show green. I immediately will turn it off and back on then the air quality shows red. I wouldn't think that 3 seconds would make a difference in the air quality. Happens every time I use it. Don't put too much faith in the sensors for the air quality. They are just there for looks and for potential buyers to think that it will work.

Definitely cuts down on dust and the air definitely feels cleaner. I got two of them while they were on sale for a good price.

It is very quiet. I’ve noticed that the dust on my coffee table has decreased. Actually every where!! My Home smells great !! The air quality is so much better. I’m glad I bought it!!

Larger then expected. Really quiet. Works nicely. Took out unpleasant smells fast. Worked so well bought a second one while it was on sale.

Quiet. Took away a lot of odors. I believe it has helped me get a better nights sleep.

Purchased the first initial unit it to clean the air in an apartment with allergy sufferers due to two cats. This unit works!! It has helped w my allergies. This unit can be a bit noisy when on Turbo mode level be, however, I put in auto mode and let it work. You will be amazed at the amount of dust it collects after the first filter change.
