This is not the glossy, occasionally dross calypso that entertains tourists or wins Calypso King competitions. It is more rustic in flavor, speaks more to non-urban audiences and is accompanied only by guitar, banjo and marimba. There's a bit of magic here that your average InchTourist JoeInch wouldn't get to see.
While Miami Beach is well known as a vacation spot, it's signature mix of house, Chill-out and lounge music is also becoming a landmark. The SFP group of labels became the Global night clubber's soundtrack as DJs all over the four continents like Danny Rampling, Carl Cox, and/or Pete Tong, spun and compiled many tracks released by SFP's labels on more than a thousand different compilations. This 3 track single, produced by Ron Carroll and featuring remixes by Robert Collado AKA Mimosa and DJ John InchJuliusInch Knight, is from the SFP offshoot Soul groove. All original 12Inch mixes.
