This accessory is a necessary tool within your accessory arsenal. I purchased a screen protector, a carrying case, a carrying case for the carrying case and all my other accessories, so... ...if you happen to take advantage of the portable nature of this console and you're a player who likes to play for hours but have no access to an electrical outlet, then this is for you (that is if you're sitting in your car and definitely not driving).

As a 30-something who still loves gaming, this really comes in handy to just leave in the glove compartment in my car. Very easy to just plug up the switch and get a little extra juice during the commute or when out running errands. I haven't used it while actively gaming in the car as I'm always the driver, but for on-the-go charging it works great for me.

Plugs into the Switch in a snap, lets my son play until his eyes bleed on those long car rides. Glad we have it since the battery life is normally about six hours and that won't cut it on the long drives.

Perfect for charging on the go or on those long road trips. I haven't had to use the charger yet but just knowing I can charge the Switch in the car is reassuring so my kids won't run out of power. I highly recommend it if you bring your Switch everywhere.

This is a must have item if you own a Nintendo Switch and take it on the road. As a bonus I even use it to quick charge my Microsoft Lumia 950 cell phone.

I bought this for my son since we were going on an 8 hour drive. It worked great. My son never complained of his Switch dieing on him.
