About This Item

In 1906, Saxton (Christopher Lee), a British anthropologist, is returning to Europe by the Trans-Siberian Express. With him is a crate containing the frozen remains of a primitive creature that he discovered in a cave in Manchuria. He hopes it is the missing link in human evolution. Doctor Wells (Peter Cushing), Saxton's friendly rival, is also travelling aboard the train. Suddenly passengers are being killed as this mysterious creature has picked the lock of the crate in which it was being held. The creature takes control of the train, while Saxton and Wells manage to separate the last car from the rest of the train. The creature tries to find the brakes to try and stop the train, but fails to get it to slow down as it rams through the barrier and plunges down the cliff, destroying it as soon as it hits the bottom. Has the creature managed to survive the crash? Watch this entertaining and timeless sci-fi classic to find out, The final scene shows the image of the earth - kind of spooky, I would say. A real classic Halloween treat of a movie! (85 minutes - 1972 - Color - 4 3)
