Hot Cars - DVD

Beloved comedian Dom DeLuise stars in and directs this delightful caper spoof, co-written by legendary crime novelist Donald E. Westlake (The Hot Rock). A trio of Miami cops decides to set themselves up as fences in order to trap thieves. Needless to say, things start to go wrong and soon they're on the run from both the crooks and their own police force! The cast is packed with great comic talent, including Suzanne Pleshette, Jerry Ree

This slice-of-life comedy both documents and satirizes small town life in a rural Texas town where the only entertainment in the day is the roller rink and at night the local drive-in. Hosting a cross-section of the town's population, the drive-in comes to life at night - parents show up with their kids in tow, teenage paramours arrive with their dates, and the local gangs fuel their rivalry - under the gigantic screen and at the snack

Set in the late 1930's, the young wife of a Southern tobacco farmer falls in love with a handsome hired hand, pushing her marriage to the brink of destruction.
