Q: does this unit have a gas safety shut off if the electronic pilot does not light a flame ?
A: Hello. Thanks for reaching out! This unit comes with Electronic pilotless ignition. It eliminates the need to light the burners. It also saves money by using less gas than a standing pilot range. A: The range should be connected to gas supply line that is 1/2" I.D. National Pipe Thread (NPT) at a recommended 5 feet in length for ease of installation.
Q: How do you get through the wire to change the oven lightbulb?
A: Hello- Thank you for your questions. We are happy to help! Be sure the light cover is cool before trying to remove and always disconnect your power before installing a light bulb. To remove the cover: 1. Hold a hand under the cover so it doesn’t fall when released. With fingers of the same hand, firmly push back the wire cover holder. Lift off the cover. Do not remove any screws to remove the cover. 2. Replace bulb with a 40-watt appliance bulb. Perfect Fit!
It's nice and compact. As long as you have available outlet, not extension cord, to plug it in, no need for matches to light the pilots. Only downside is I wish it came in black.

Hotpoint 4 burner gas stove.
Very nice stove, cleans lines snd easy to use the electronic ignition. I like the oven light too. I wish it had a clock like my old stove.
