How to Kill a Judge - BLU-RAY

Actual combat footage and a dramatic look at the burdens of command highlight this classic WWII tale set at the U.S. Army's 8th Air Force base in England. Gregory Peck stars as hard-nosed General Frank Savage, who turns the dispirited men into a crack flying unit, with able support from Hugh Marlowe, Gary Merrill, Millard Mitchell, and, in an Oscar-winning performance, Dean Jagger. Adapted by Sy Bartlett and Beirne Lay, Jr. From their novel. 132 min. Standard; Soundtrack English. Region Free

Crooked lawyer Martin Strang (Milburn Stone) is struck by a guilty conscience after defending a murderer he had freed from a similar charge a year prior. Goaded by a resentful wife he knows is having an affair with the county psychologist, Strang goes off the deep end looking for a way to prove whether or not defending society's worst criminals is worth it.
