Hoya - 52mm FLD Fluorescent Multi Coated Glass Filter

What sets the 52mm FLD Fluorescent Multi Coated Glass Filter apart is its precision-engineered design, tailored to combat the unique color shifts introduced by fluorescent lighting in photography. Fluorescent lights can impart a distinct color cast to your images, often going unnoticed to the naked eye but having a significant impact on film and digital captures. When shooting under daylight-equivalent fluorescent lights, your images may exhibit an unwanted purplish hue. This high-quality filter from Hoya effectively corrects and neutralizes this color imbalance, restoring a natural and balanced color palette to your photographs.Crafted with a multi-coated surface, the filter boasts an advanced layering technology that significantly diminishes reflections, glare, and lens flare, ensuring that your images retain high contrast and clarity. The multi-coated feature is a critical advantage for photographers seeking to enhance image quality without compromising on light transmission.Additionally, the filter's rounded edges are meticulously designed to ensure that it seamlessly aligns with your lens, avoiding any vignetting or obstruction of the lens's field of view. This circular filter is not only functional but also maintains the aesthetic integrity of your photography equipment. For photographers working in industrial environments or any setting dominated by "warm white" fluorescent lights, which can cast a greenish tone on images, a specialized FL-W corrective filter is also available. Both the FL-D and FL-W filters come in a variety of sizes to suit different lenses, and they are offered in both coated and multi-coated versions, with the latter providing enhanced flare resistance.Whether you are a professional photographer or an enthusiast, the 52mm FLD Fluorescent Multi Coated Glass Filter is an affordable and essential tool for achieving true-to-life colors in your photographs. Its ability to correct color temperature variations makes it a valuable addition to your photography kit, ensuring that your images look natural, regardless of the challenging lighting conditions you may encounter.
