The HP Stream Laptop from Best Buy is a nifty, budget-friendly option that's easy to take anywhere. It sports a sleek design with a 14-inch HD display, offering a decent viewing experience. It's not a powerhouse, driven by an Intel Celeron processor and 4 GB of RAM, so it's more suited for everyday tasks rather than heavy-duty stuff. The 64 GB storage might feel a bit tight, but it contributes to snappy performance. What's nice is the impressive battery life, giving you around 11.5 hours for videos and 9 hours for streaming, making it great for on-the-go use. It also ticks the connectivity boxes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a decent camera for video calls. Features like HP Fast Charge and a focus on energy efficiency add to its appeal, and the bonus one-year Microsoft 365 subscription is a nice touch for productivity. Overall, it's a handy companion for casual use, though not ideal for power users or those needing lots of storage.

I love the laptop. The size, the lightweight and even the pearly iridescent white color. However, it is so slow and I'll be returning it. I can't get anything done and it's so discouraging.

I like that it's compact and lightweight. The storage size is ok for me because I have another hp touch screen laptop that performs well and has a large amount of storage. I really wanted a blue laptop so that was a plus. I use it for my cloud computing course for school mostly.

I bought this laptop as a cheap portable take everywhere computer. In the original configuration it is very slow because of the low memory, different that what HP says it has upgradeable memory slot and also a slot for m2. The machine is much more responsive with the 8 gb RAM. You have to take the entire bottom of the computer with isn’t easy. Good - Price($149) - Light - can upgrade RAM and SSD - battery Bad - Screen low resolution - to upgrade you have to take out all the lower part - feels cheap - performance is in the low end even with the extra money For what I needed it is perfect, including to have a upgrade path that most cheap laptops don’t have anymore My Daughter who is going to college is already using it and liked the portability and for her basic tasks it is OK

So I was skeptical buying a “budget” computer but at the time it was really all I could afford. I needed something to complete my college coursework and fast! This HP has been a gem! It gets everything done that I need for my classes. I’m not a gamer so I can’t attest to speed while gaming but I’ve never had a single issue with slowness or lagging with this guy!

Very good. It is extremely light weight, and easy to use, especially for school. Although, it is a tad slow. But for your moneys worth, you’re getting above and beyond!

This laptop works well, is easy to navigate, lightweight, and a fun change of color from the usual gray and black.

This was a good beginner laptop for my teen enrolled in college classes. It has lasted for a little over 2 years with little issues. (Recent issue is not all the letters on the keypad want to work properly) Overall not a bad computer for the price.

I bought this computer in a pinch and it does all the basic things you might need a computer for. This would be a great starter computer for a teen in school

I was looking for an affordable laptop that would help me with basic record keeping and I found this HP at a very reasonable price. I liked the blue color and that it came with Windows 11. It also came with Microsoft 365. It does not come with all the bells and whistles as the high end laptops but it has enough to help me with my record keeping projects. I would of like that the battery would last a little bit longer but it's enough to keep you working without charging it during the day. If you want an entry level laptop, this is the one. I would not have any problem recommending it to my family or friends.

Its the perfect laptop computer for everyday todo's. Like paying bills, serfing the internet, checking social media, creating projects on Canva, and more. It the price point was perfect.

Best purchase for school work it has a great battery life the screen has a great display nice bang for your buck

I purchased the laptop as a gift for my 10 year old. I bought it as an open box item and saved around $90. Cosmetically the laptop is flawless; however operationally it is extremely slow. But for $110 Im not surprised, it does the job though. I had no issues with the packaging and it arrived on time before Christmas. I would definitely make another purchase with Best Buy and to save some money I would buy an open box item.

HP’s 14” Laptop, dq3000dx, is a basic computer with quality components, updated technology, and product features that make it worth a test drive. Offered at a very affordable price, it comes with all the elements needed for basic computing. The Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless cards worked seamlessly and aided a flawless installation of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth computer peripherals. The computer was up and running, and the Windows Home S mode operating system had completed all updates in minutes. The literature suggested that the laptop remain plugged in with the 45W AC power adapter before powering on the computer, so I followed that directive. I was impressed that the charging was pleasantly stable (partially due to the AC Smart Pin Connection) and that the battery fully charged in about an hour. The literature states that the battery can charge from empty to about 50 percent in 45 minutes, which appears correct. The literature also states that the battery life is approximately 12 hours of video playback and 7 hours and 45 minutes of wireless streaming, which I have not evaluated. Battery life is improving for technological products, and from my experience, this laptop's battery life is surprisingly good. The 14-dq3000dx is an attractive, thin, light, modern laptop in Snowflake White. At only .71“thick, its overall dimensions are 8.86” and 12.76”, which makes it ideal for most backpacks. Because of its lightweight material, it only weighs 3.24 lbs. Its battery life and lightweight composition make it easy to take anywhere. Because of its Intel Celeron N4500 (quad-core) Processor and Intel UHD Graphics, you can be assured that you will have fundamental, reliable computing on the go. Other noteworthy features that I feel are PROS, but a few CONS are mentioned below. PROS: • One (1) year subscript to Microsoft 365 Office, which now includes innovative assist features, including AI technology with Microsoft Co-Pilot. • Camera – HP True Vision 720P HD with integrated noise-reducing dual microphones for clear video chatting and recording. • A 14-inch Display with a micro-edge bezel that creates a broader viewing experience and an anti-glare panel that tremendously helps eliminate glare when used outside. • HD Audio with Stereo Speakers. • A Full-Size integrated keyboard. • All the connections that you could need, including: A multi-format SD Media Card Reader, USB Type C – 1 connection, USB Type A - 2 connection, HDMI 1.4b – 1 connection, AC Smart Pin (a special type of power connector pin that optimizes charging) Headphone/Microphone combo jack. CONS: • Keyboard – The keyboard is an integrated standard keyboard, which is good, but the keyboard also has missing features or features that could use improvement. Backlighting of keyboards is especially useful in low-light or evening work. It would have been a nice feature that is absent from this laptop. The keyboard layout does not include numerals on the right side. Unfortunately, computer manufacturers are abandoning this notable feature. As on most keyboards, numerals are on the top row. I am not a fan of the material used in the actual keys and wish the design had used a material with a tactile feel to its surface. I have been typing fast for years on various typewriter models and keyboards. The keys of this keyboard may be fine for others, but the feel of the rigid plastic does not seem ergonomic and slowed my typing speed. • RAM Memory—The 4GB DDR4 Memory, or random-access memory, appears to be enough to power all of Microsoft Office's features. However, the capacity of the 4GB RAM limits the number of windows that can be opened simultaneously without slowdown issues. When too many windows are opened simultaneously, the processes start to slow down. • eMMC Storage—This computer's eMMC compact flash-based storage helps in the design to make the laptop thin and light, but it is only 64 GB. This is adequate storage to run the features of Microsoft Office but limits the number of additional programs. However, if the proposed use of this computer is to install and utilize several programs, there is a limit to what this computer’s storage and RAM capacity can efficiently manage. Most documents and photographs will need to be saved in the cloud because of the low capacity of RAM and Storage, which also limits the number of programs or documents that can be saved on this computer. For a few dollars more, there is another model identical to this laptop but with storage of 128 GB, twice that of this one at 64GB. This is an entry-level laptop computer designed for performance. A laptop that is light enough to take anywhere and designed around dependability for everyday computing needs. It is perfect for home or school and, with the addition of Microsoft Office for a year, provides all the programs needed to complete written assignments, browse the internet, download or stream movies and shows, and successfully compete. Microsoft 365 Office includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which now utilizes AI Smart Assist Features and, upon their use, can enhance your creativity. HP also offers technical support for the first 90 days to ensure that the computer is set up correctly and social media is installed, connected, and in working order. With this purchase, you also receive one (1) year of Dropbox Cloud Storage of 100 GB and 30 days of McAfee Security. The HP Laptop 14-dq3000dx is a sleek, light, lovely, contemporary-looking computer that will allow you to do everything you typically need in basic computing.

I love this laptop. It is blue, which is my favorite color and it works perfectly. I homeschool my kids and help my husband with his business and this laptop has helped me do it all.
