    Great Laptop with Everything I Need

    I’m really happy with this laptop! The large touchscreen is smooth and clear, the CPU is fast, and I love the backlit keyboard and fingerprint reader. The laptop cooler also works great as a stand with adjustable angles — very convenient!

    So far, so good

    This has been a good laptop so far. Easy to open, keyboard is a decent size for a laptop and bootup time is quick. I mostly use it docked, so I can't comment on battery life.

  • Curious as to why a cooler is being offered with this version. Does it have a tendency to overheat? I ask because I have an 11th gen envy which I purchased in 2021.

    As Shakespeare would say, a thunderbolt port is a thunderbolt port is a thunderbolt port. This unit is NOT equipped with a thunderbolt port, so what it does have cannot act as one. It DOES have an HDMI port, however, which can be used for an external display (this is pretty much standard, even on the cheapest portables).

    According to Gemini, NO as to the 1080p camera, but YES to the dual-array microphones. This fits with expectations, as (1) you can see the physical indents of the microphones and (2) 720p cameras are pretty much the standard on laptops, even on pricier items.
