Q: Can the HDMI output support a second monitor?
A: Yes, you can connect a 2nd monitor via the HDMI port.
Q: What are the two "ports" shown on the side view?
A: If you're talking about the view that shows the left side of the computer, that's a headphone/microphone jack and a microSD card reader.
Q: does this come with windows 11 already installed?
A: Thank you for asking. Yes, the HP 24-cb0234 All-in-One desktop is presented with Windows 11 Home.
Q: Does this come with CD / DVD drive?
A: No cd drive.
Q: does this have a "port" for using external speakers?
A: Yes, there's a port on the left side that you can plug external speakers into.
Q: Does the motherboard have a connector for a second ssd (1TB)?
A: Not sure... What I did is purchased a 5TB LaCie external HD and it plugs in via USB C, you can get a USB C to A adapter for a few bucks on amazon or buy an A to C cable. The PC comes with enough 3.0 and 2.0 ports to still have empty slots for whatever else you need to plug in. Only down fall is they are all on the back, so pick up a USB 4 port expansion and it brings them to the front and adds more ports.
Q: Does this come with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.?
A: It comes with a one-month trial of Microsoft 365, which contains those programs. After the trial period, you'll need to pay for it to continue using them.
Q: Can you adjust the height ?
A: Unfortunately, the height is not adjustable.
