Probably one of the worst laptops I have owned. I bought this for university in early 2022 and also mistakenly got it with windows 11. The battery life sucked, even at a lower resolution, power saving on, and CPU power management set to efficiency. The frame is a metal of some sort, but don't be fooled, it is still flimsy. The performance is fair, it can handle games at low res and hit 60fps about 60-70% of the time. I used it a little bit for video editing, and aside from the fan almost generating lift, it handled 1080 30fps video fairly well. Don't plan on using the fingerprint reader reliably, sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't, sometimes it won't recognize the finger that just unlocked it 20 seconds prior. This thing is impossible to keep cool and that is probably due to the fact this has a singular fan and a heatsink . I've tried using better thermal paste, blowing out every crevice and keeping it elevated...this thing idles at 75-80°c and maxes out at 100°c frequently, even before changing the thermal paste. This thing is NOT worth $1100 new. Be warned

Using for school/college. Works like a gem. I bought it marked down because it was a return. Maybe it wasn’t powerful enough for the buyer before? I’m very happy with my purchase. My first 2 -in- 1

I mostly like the HP, it is fast, has great colors, and I can find files much easier. But it has this quirk when I’m composing an email. It jumps to another line at times, especially when I pause. I have yet to find the reason for this.

I really like it alot, did not give 5 stars because of the battery life. I don't really take it out of the house, but when I do I have to make sure I am able to plug it in.

This laptop is super fast: just what I wanted. The thing I found disturbing is the keyboard layout is unusual. The power button is where the delete key usually is, and the prt scrn button is on the shift key, so it requires pressing the function key. Who thought this was a good idea?

A decent home laptop at an affordable price. Large hi-res screen, solid built keyboard - though the backlit keys are not visible. Too many HP pop-ups during the first few days. Not sure of the processing power if we load multiple apps. Works well for simple home use

Great specs for the price, especially if you can catch it on sale for under $1,000. 16 gigs of RAM keep things moving at a brisk pace. No lag time. Programs pop. Clean & bright full HD screen. At half a terrabyte, the SSD has internal storage aplenty. I prefer to backup files on an external drive, anyway. Plus, the laptop is significantly lighter than my primary 17" HP, which is a beast to lug around in a briefcase. For mobile work, this 15.6-inch laptop is plenty. And blazing fast. Bottom line, you'll have a hard time finding specs like these at this price point.

Fantastic laptop! Very thorough research went into finding a laptop with all of the specifications that this one has so I am satisfied. For the year and what is currently on the market, this is superior to most for windows laptops. Since I’m a student I use this for hours of studying/note taking/research, therefore the only drawback I am finding is the battery life. It seems to drain pretty quick with heavy use in a matter of only 2-3 hours ? Otherwise extremely versatile, very fast speeds, 10 seconds from powering on to the main screen, opening programs is pretty much instantaneous as well as surfing the web

This laptop was great for all the work I needed to do. I really enjoyed the touch screen and the fact that it could flip around into a presentation mode. The biggest problem was the quality of the materials. The battery life was unpredictable. Some days it would last 12-14 hours, other days only about 8 - on a full charge. I just started leaving it plugged in as much as I could. It seemed a light tap would leave a small dent. Ultimately, this is why after only using it for 18 months, the motherboard apparently died. I used it all day, closed it, went home and tried to turn it on, and it was dead. I feel like for the price of this laptop, it should have been built better.
