I've had HP computers for more than 10 years, and this is the fastest one I've had. It has enough USB ports that I won't need an external hub (which I have plenty of at home). I bought it because the HP Slim Desktop I had been using for a couple of years seemed very slow compared to my 16 GB HP laptop. Turns out the Slim Desktop - which I liked because it was more lightweight than other CPUs I've had - only had 4 GB of RAM. This HP Envy has more than enough RAM and

Computer is great. 12GB with a 1TB SSD is plenty of storage for the next many years. Plus it runs very cool, which is a plus. I took away a star for the terrible wireless keyboard. The keyboard itself is fine, but the function keys are secondary functions, i.e., you have to press the function shift key and the function key to enable it (kind of like a capital letter). But here's the really bad part: there is no way to change this. They can't be "locked" so that hitting F1 give you F1. I even tried key mapping software -- no luck. I've had several calls and chats with HP which confirmed that this is not possible. So I ended up throwing out an otherwise nice wireless keyboard, and going back to my wired one.

Fast enough. Plenty of storage. Easy set up. I know I am old and not all that caught up in the "digital age" but it would have been better with a Blu-ray DVD/Burner drive. A little on the pricey end too. All in all I needed a new on and this one was in stock.

Purchased this for my father who only uses the PC for email and web browsing. I (as an advice PC gamer) was actually pretty surprised at how fast this thing boots with its NVME main drive. Its a HUGE upgrade over his older Dell HDD machine. Time will tell but seems to be a very solid machine. FYI: this does NOT have a dedicated GPU so you can do very little gaming on it. Its a solid PC for anything EXCEPT playing video games on it.

It still works great after two years, and the price at the time was inexpensive.

The computer has worked perfectly in the month I've had it. Boots up quick, plenty of speed and storage, and no lockups when listening to music or watching tv through the computer. Just the upgrade I needed.

I bought this pc for my wife to use for book keeping and working online. It starts up fast and performs well using Microsoft Office . She uses it for web design and virtual meetings with no problems.

Great computer for the money, fast extremely quiet, processor speed is very good. The only downside is you cannot add a CD drive internally.

Smaller, lighter, faster, quieter than my behemoth of 6 years ago. Very pleased with the performance.

I really liked this computer although now i’ve upgraded i still think this one was worth the 700$. I used mine mainly for internet browsing, music making (fl studio ran fine with little to no issues) and some writing as well and i never really had an issue. i would recommend this computer for more casual people but i do still think it’s better to build your own and customize that to your needs.

It is easy to use and is fast. It does not take up much space on your desk and it looks sleek.

Surprisingly excellent value. Great for home office work and simply easy to set up and use. Need a home office computer for spreadsheets, letters and accounting? Here ya go. Absolutely the best value for the money. I even use it for graphic design work with the Adobe suite of applications. Just desktop design things not video editing. Some hate the keyboard but I found it more than adequate for my needs.
